ROOM ROBBED BY HOTEL STAFF — Was here on business for a 4 night stay. On the second night I noticed my envelope of money that was in a folder had been taken. Reported to management, they did not care and said they would deal with it in the morning. Went down the next day, they said that only the cleaner had been in and that they weren’t prepared to take it further. Disgusting customer service. Do not stay here if you will have any valuables in your room.

The worst hotel to stay
1. They have no extra blankets, quilts
2. They provide the cheapest toiletries
3. In the name of free breakfast they provide coffee and half cooked waffle
4.We ordered yogurt in the morning which was expired and despite complaining Mr. Choksi manager said it does not harm you can consume it.

I recently stayed at the Tryp by Wyndham on a Thursday night while attending a conference in AC. I was able to book for only $ 44 and have to say that this hotel exceeded by expectations for the cost. I was worried after reading the mixed reviews (with some bad ones emerging after I was able to cancel!) However, I was very pleased.
Check-​in was easy. I arrived around 8pm and the man at the desk was very friendly. As other reviewers mentioned, there is a $ 10 parking fee– cash only. I parked behind the building and did not feel very safe leaving my car there, to be honest. For that, I am removing 1 star.
My hotel room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. I had two queen beds and slept very comfortably. The breakfast area also exceeded my expectations. Trust me, I have been promised breakfast and was handed a honey bun in a wrapper before. This breakfast was fine. I made the waffle iron waffles and sliced up a banana on top. There was also eggs, sausage, danishes, fruit (although the apples were tiny), yogurt, coffee and juice.
I would recommend staying here for the price. It’s right across from the Tropicana as well.

This is not a hotel — its a motel. The rooms open up to the outside, which caused my friend and I to feel unsafe (we are both female). Particularly when we heard screaming and yelling throughout the night. At about 7 a.m. we heard someone who must have worked at the motel scream at a guest to leave the property immediately. This is not the way I would like to have awoken especially since I barely got any sleep due to the noise. Atlantic City is not a nice place and this motel is located near some sketchy housing. We were left 3 tiny scratchy towels for 2 adults. We got a good chuckle out of a sign in the room stating that the amenities in the room were for sale (I guess their clientele likes to steal these items as no one would purchase this crap). For example, these horrible scratchy towels were listed at $ 20 a piece! We also paid over $ 200 for a room on a Saturday night. Based on the price and the Wyndham name I thought this would be a nice property, but this was incorrect. You also must pay $ 10 in cash to park (this seemed shady as they had my credit card). Pay a little more and stay at one of the nicer hotels.

I stayed in this hotel one night because I went to a concert in Atlantic City. It was expensive being a Saturday night, nearly $ 250. Definitely NOT worth it. This is a renovated MOTEL and the problems are numerous: wifi blacks out, TV blacks out, sheets wrinkled, stains on the sofa and the chair, rough small towels, tepid water in the shower, the toilet has problems flushing. The bed was comfortable though, and there is adequate lighting. Don’t even think of staying here to take advantage of the free breakfast. It is cheap processed food – instant cereal, white bread, English muffins, juice from concentrate, microwave eggs and sausage. There are waffles you can make and apples and overripe bananas, but this is not worth staying at this hotel for. You can eat better at a Starbucks. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, definitely not if they are paying «Saturday night» rates. Maybe for $ 50 a night it would be worth it since it is right across the street from the Tropicana and a block from the Boardwalk. The location is the one thing it has going for it.

I went aug 22 – 23 it was fun nice big room the only thing I have a problem with is the pool look dirty and the check out is 11am but honestly next I go to ac I will pay 50 dollar more to stay at a better hotel

Shithole. Super young. Beer bottles everywhere. Couldn’t even stay because it’s so bad. Still had to pay which was a letdown but at least I got out of there.

Great location, reasonably priced, nice pool, everything’s renovated as the hotel just reopened. Breakfast is OK, if you like waffles and cereal. I’d stay again.

Great value with easy access to the Boardwalk and the free-​access beach. I appreciate having breakfast included in the room price. The room was clean and included a desk with a comfortable chair, a small fridge (not mini bar), and a safe that could easily hold two computers and a few phones.
The free Wifi Internet access does not work in the room I had; I received the password from the front desk, connected, and got such a weak signal, I could only get data through for half of any given minute. (I didn’t consider it worth it, personally, to pack everything up and and ask for another room. I didn’t complain directly about this because they probably already know by now, judging from other reviews I’ve read. They never should have signed off for whoever installed it.)
The coffee at breakfast was very bad, but drinkable. If this is a concern for you, allow time to go to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts in The Tropicana across the street, or use the pod coffee maker in your room — you can bring your own if you wish, the pods that look like big tea bags.
Except for those two things I was very satisfied because of the location and the price I paid.

No one would ever accuse me of being scared of the more «dangerous» areas of Atlantic City near The Boardwalk. In fact, I’m a booster of many of the restaurants on Pacific Avenue. But I honestly felt kind of skeevy at this hotel.
First of all, the rooms are built like a motel which is something I was not expecting behind its fancy façade. The open to the elements aspect did not really win me over since it was raining on the night I stayed. I guess during the summer when the pool is open, its serving as a centerpiece to the courtyard might be nice but covered up in the spring, it was just depressing.
The free breakfast wasn’t very uplifting either. While the make your own waffle was nice, there was not much in the way of hot food. Cereal just didn’t cut it for me. I wanted to save money by not having to eat at Tropicana across the street and that plan failed.
Since I was across the street at the casino most of the time, it definitely provided a satisfactory home base for sleeping (the bed was comfortable and the television worked). And in general, this place is not expensive given its location basically on the beach and across from Tropicana but I’m just not sure if the savings were worthwhile when there are a ton of other hotels in the area which are similar or better for only a tiny bit more money.

The hotel receptionist was not helpful at all. The Internet and cable did not work. The hotel also did not look nearly as nice as it did in the pictures. Very disappointing.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It is like the «inn» version of Wyndham, and in Wyndham fashion, they provided above my expectations. It was a very affordable rate (about $ 60/​night in december), and the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and a good size flat screen tv with all the cable channels. They ALSO had complimentary breakfast, wich was the standard fare of coffee/​tea, cereal, toast, and a waffle making machine (I liked that!). Don’t expect 4 star hotel treatment, it’s a nice place for a quick, affordable stay, in a great location, right accross from the Tropicana hotel and by the boardwalk.
If Atlantic city wasn’t becoming a ghost town, I would have stayed there again with no hesitation.

A pleasantly surprising gem just off the boardwalk. the price is right, the room is comfy and clean and (best of all) location location location! A few steps from the fabulous Trop restaurants means all that money you save on the hotel can be spent on a decadent meal at The Palm just steps away.
Good spot to stay at if you’re attending an event at Boardwalk Hall.

We were in town for a show at Boardwalk Hall so the location was very convenient. The hotel is also very convenient to the restaurants in the Tropicana — we chose The Palm for dinner. We paid $ 89 for a Saturday night stay and for the most part were very pleased. The rooms are modern and updated and have plenty of space even with a king bed. The parking was an extra $ 10 but since we did not plan on moving the car all night, it was acceptable. The check in and check out process was easy.
My only complaint would be the noise level. The street noise is loud in the room and it also did not help that the other tenants were fighting on the floor below us at 2AM. The front door of every room faces outside (like an old motor lodge, so noise is an issue no matter what room you have.
Overall I would say the room was good for the price and location.

Not a bad place to spend the night if you wanna save some money on a hotel room. It’s walking distance to tropicana and the room was clean and modern. Only complains are: parking is first come first serve and if you move your car, nothing is guaranteed. There are also not very many parking spots. This was inconvenient. But there is the jitney stop right in front of lobby as well as many taxis.

Besides the fact that no one can complain about a hotel for $ 40 a night– it’s ckean, modern, has a gym, free breakfast (if you can wake up for it !) brightly colored walls and a half block from the trop. Lots of outlets, stand up shower (no bath) but cheap bath products. My biggest complaint was the lack of a later check out time. It is 11am, and when we asked for later they said the latest they could do is 11:15 otherwise they would charge us $ 20 every 15 minutes or something crazy like that. They called us to remind us at 11:00 and then housekeeping kept knocking. It’s a convenient, no frills budget spot.
