WOW! I just got off the phone and am shocked at the blatant inflation of prices when I mentioned it was for a wedding. I inquired about the 25 Passenger limo buss for 4 hours on a weekend (which is the minimum number of hours for a Saturday) at $ 125 per hour at 4 hours = $ 500 plus 20% gratuity should come to $ 600 right?
No! After mentioning its for a wedding the manager says we can do it for $ 650 plus 20% gratuity. I asked why the sudden price change? The response was «well that’s the industry» I again mentioned I am not interested in «wedding packages» or anything extra just the hourly rate and we wont even be traveling over 5 miles round trip. The guy on the other side of the line was insistent they would not budge and will charge me extra just because its a wedding. WOW. See for yourself.

Last Saturday, my fiancé was getting ready to go to her bachelorette party in Atlantic City at 3:00 PM. I received a call from Torgro saying that they have been trying to call me for the last hour, which is such a lie. Everybody has caller id! He said that the bus broke down and they were working on sending another one. I try calling back 10 minutes later and it goes to a full voice mail box (as the other reviewer has said.) I spend the next 45 minutes trying to call. Finally, I call from a different line and someone picked up. They said they are still working on it. Well, they never came. I have tried calling for a refund and have gotten nothing. I disputed my payment on my credit card and hopefully, they will man up (if they are actually a company.) I called yesterday and spoke to a secretary who said the owners and managers were on vacation. Have no fear you can book them online and even use your credit card. They charged 50% of the balance. DO NOT USE THEM EVER! THEY ARE SHYSTERS! EVEN IF THEY ARE LEGITIMATE I WOULD NEVER USE THEM. Read every review on them online (preferably on Unilocal.) Thankfully there was a limo company that came through for us. Not sure if I could post them, but would highly recommend the replacement.

I have never posted a review on Unilocal before, but after the absolutely terrible experience with Torgro limousine in Atlantic City, I felt that I must prevent others from making the same mistake we made by booking this company. My husband booked a car through Torgro to pick us up on our wedding night and when I called to change the pick up time by one hour, the dispatch named Dez proceeded to tell me absolutely not. I asked if he would just look into it and he again said NO firmly without even calling to check with his cars. When I politely explained it was our wedding night and it would mean a lot to be picked up a bit earlier he insisted that this was not possible. I told him that in all my years in the magazine business booking cars in New York and Los Angeles, I’ve never heard of not being able to move a time to accommodate the needs of the customer. He then proceeded to call me obnoxious and made a comment about my mother. Needless to say, I was very upset, which is not exactly how you would like to end an amazing wedding reception. We didn’t get the car and rode in a shuttle with our guests back to the hotel. Very romantic. I would strongly recommend NOT TO EVER book this company due to the fact that they would hire such a truly unprofessional, incompetent person. ALSO, since they take all payments in advance rather than a deposit like most companies, we were charged for their terrible service and insults with no recourse. I would say to definitely look for another limo company especially if it is a meaningful night that you want to go well.
