Flanigan’s Bar

don’t waste your time. i decided to go here because i saw a pool table on my way home from work. yes it has a pool table. one, beat up pool table. when we got there i asked the bartender how much it was for a game, she rudely told me that it was for customers only so «both of yous have to buy a drink» fine. its a bar, i planned on having a drink anyway. i asked her for a amaretto sour and she told me (rudely) that they didn’t have sour mix «only shots and beers». shots, fine. the selection was weak to say the least, a bunch of dark liquors. i asked her for a shot of captain morgan and a corona. she handed me a long pour of captain morgan. no ice. no lime. nothing. and a corona, no lime either. i asked for ice and a lime she handed me a little cup of ice cubes and the tiniest slither of dried lime i have ever seen. and told me it was a dollar to play pool. fine, whatever we played one game and got the hell out of there. its not really what she said, but how she said it. she could have easily been just a little nicer. my first and last time going to that hole in the wall.
