Never been more frustrated. DJ refused to play Cher or Cyndi Lauper. Such horrible music taste. Never had a bad experience until tonight. Actually leaving because of the awful music and terrible service

We had a celebration of birthdays here and it was a good time. Fun music and all. It would have been a four/​five star rating, Despite having to play a little of a phone tag trying to make reservation for VIP booth. $ 750 minimum for our 13 people with minimum of 2 bottles and 20% gratuity came up to $ 900. No problem with that. However, one person in our party paid for one bottle separately and somehow that did not count towards the $ 900. At the end of the night with loud music we just didn’t feel like arguing. But definitely left a bad taste to a otherwise great night.

Do not go if you are younger than 50. I repeat do not go. This place is for people that lived in the 70s and 80s which that is not a problem unless you are a 90s baby like myself.

My mom tends to insist that no one knew how to party like her generation during the disco era (scoffs, laughs, walks away, whispers «yeah right» under breath because if I say it aloud she breaks out the Italian spoon.) However, after attending Boogie Nights last weekend, I might finally agree with her. The atmosphere was incredible and electric, a lot of groups and a mix of older and younger people having fun. Not only was the interior design incredible, but it felt like an actual 1970s era night club. Lots of neon lights, glow in the dark paint, and funky patterned furniture. The music was the highlight of this place, I grew up listening to 70s and 80s music and this is largely what was played, an awesome selection of music and an incredible DJ. The dance floor was great, packed with people and LED lighted dance floor. The one major downfall? NO DRINKING ON THE DANCE FLOOR, and this rule is very much enforced. Seemed incredibly counter intuitive, when people are drinking they want to hold it and dance, not stand awkwardly on the floor eyeing their drink from a distance! Thought this was ridiculous. However, there was a foam/​soap machine that dropped snowflake like shapes of foam down from the ceiling. Towards the end of the night, 80s porn was played on the music video screens and they all featured Ron Jeremy, in what I think might have been an attempt to make everyone in the club throw up. We stayed until about 3AM I believe. Excellent, fun, place to party. Plenty of space to stand or sit when you’re not dancing, and speedy bar service.

Boogie Nights is within the Tropicana casino. My girlfriend and I prefer this club over rest because the crowd seems to be much more friendly and responsible than the other clubs we have been too in AC. We also enjoy the 70−80s music. It makes for a fun, silly adventure. The cover is also always very reasonable. The most I have seen is $ 10 a person. Normally if is free for casino guests or $ 5. Unfortunately, Thursdays are apparently now 90s music nights. We were not a fan and will probably avoid coming on a Thursday from now on.

Super cute 70’s themed space with a «love shack» vip section equipped with a verticle pole. Epic multi colored light up dance floor definately adds to the atmosphere.

It’s a decent place, we went on Halloween. A bit on the pricy side. 8 $ for a Corona, 7 $ for a bud light. Fair to say is not acceptable no matter what club you’re in.

I wanted to say that from start to finish, this place has been great,
I booked a table for my sister’s Bachelorette party as I thought this would be something different and it sounded fun. It was between this place and another lounge called Retro Club. This place got better reviews, so I went with this one. The table cost for a Friday night was beyond reasonable and they had half off bottle service as well (yay!).
I arranged everything with Valerie and she was so helpful and great with everything. When we got there, everything was super easy, no hassle. The table reservation also included free admission, so non of our group had to pay the cover fee. We ordered a bottle of Absolut, a bucket (yes bucket!) of corona and a bottle of rum. It came with the mixers and our waitress also gave us a bucket filled with bottles of water as well. I cannot say enough about the service! Our waitress was AMAZING! Non of the mixers were empty the entire night, she refilled everything constantly and cleaned up a ton during the night. Seriously, our whole group was super impressed with how great the service was.
The music here was so much fun, a good mix of 70s and 80s and they even had the electric slide playing as well. Definitely a fun atmosphere. And on the night we were there it was the «Billy Idol– White Wedding Night» (how appropriate right!). They had a billy idol impersonator signing his hits all night. Our whole group loved it and the bride was up on the dance floor all night. I HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a fun, laid back place. Our group was even saying that we would love to go back soon.

We have been going here for many years and love, love, love the music. It is all about the 80s and the dj’s don’t disappoint! It once was a club that people of all generations could enjoy. Now it is on the seedier side and attracts mostly the young & intoxicated. Don’t even bother using the women’s rest room next to it. Apparently, the young & intoxicated have forgotten how to flush the toilets.

Blast from the past… in a great way! Getting down and getting funky. Now this is fun music to dance to!
We partied hard here a few weekends ago. The music is on-​point with great tunes to dance to from old rock to disco to hip hop. From the 70’s to the 90’s. Think Fresh Prince to Journey to AC/​DC to Run DMC and the BeeGees. Terrific group of people acting as MC’s and GoGo dancers dressed in huge afro wigs and psychadelic outfits leading the way and keeping the crowd pumped up. Great sound system and lighting. How can you not get on the dance floor and be all amped to boogie down? We did and were worn out by the time we headed back to our hotel room around 3am.
The dance floor is not terribly huge but you can find a spot to call your own. No drinks allowed on the dance floor which I liked actually as I hate when some drunk idiot or sloppy bachelorette party girl spills their drink all over me when dancing. I think it’s a good rule.
Nice mix of people here when we went, from 20 somethings through 40 somethings for the most part. It was like one huge party with everyone having a good time. Saw a bunch of birthday celebrations going on, bachelorette parties, and even a «happy divorce» group partying hard. A bunch of people even dressed in throwback outfits from the 70’s. Even saw a few pimp dudes and flower children here. Too funny.
They have bottle service and VIP areas too. Cover charge is low and many times you can score free admission tickets if you see a staff member handing them out around the casino. Terrific waitress service with reasonably priced drinks took care of us all night.
LMAO! The even have a «Cubs and Cougars Night» for those «experienced women of a certain age» who enjoy teaching a thing or two to the younger men in attendance.
Boom Chicka Bow Wow!

This is my first review and I have to say that I feel pretty strongly about this place. With the abundance of clubs playing house, techno and other assorted music that I’m not a huge fan of, Boogie Nights is an Oasis in the desert. It is almost impossible to go here with a group of your friends and not have a good time. IMO the dance floor is just the right size and although I wasn’t crazy about not being able to drink out on the dance floor, you get used to it. One of the best things about this club is the lack of snobbery on the part of the employees, dancers and the patrons. EVERYONE seems to be having a really good time.
I am in my late 30’s and I would describe the age range as very diverse. The beginning of the night (10−11pm) it trends older but quickly comes down as it gets later. It is impossible to not enjoy most of the music unless you hate all music that’s older then 1995. Bön Jovi, Journey, MC Hammer, Bell Biv Devoe, AC/​DC, Bee Gees etc… You name it, if it was popular in the 70s, 80s or 90s they will probably play it.
So I would say that if you are looking for a really young crowd, unfriendly people and awful music go to one of the other hundred clubs that caters to that .If you want to have a blast in a place that welcomes everyone, Boogie Nights is your place.

I’ve been to Boogie Nights twice and for some reason, every time I feel like I’m slumming.
The sound system is weak and I know the point of Boogie Nights is old music but the playlist just irritates me. I feel like a total loser when I go here and think there has to be more fun places in AC this, I hope.

Awesome place!!! Loved the whole vibe! $ 5 Fridays is a great gimmick… you can’t beat a $ 5 cover & $ 5 drinks till midnight… it was wonderful to see such a mixed crowd of people just enjoying themselves. Highly recommend this place!

This place is ridiculous but in a good way! My two friends and I didn’t feel like leaving the hotel and did not want to go to Providence but we did want to go to a club and dance. I had never been to Boogie Nights before but we figured if there was no or a low cover charge, we’d go. I’m pretty sure there was a 10 – 15 cover charge but the guy gave us some passes to get in free. Score!
I had so much fun! They played a bunch of 80s and 90s music. What’s not to love? There is a wide range of old to young people here, and everyone seems to be having a blast. The dance floor wasn’t too big but luckily it wasn’t very crowded so it didn’t get annoying.

DO YOU LOVE AND MISS THE 90s?
Well…i have a great news for you… every Thursday night is 90s night here and it is amazing. They play such great music, i just have the biggest smile on my face right now.
The annoying thing tho is, no drinks on the dance floor. The dance floor isn’t that big and i do get why they don’t want the drinks on there, but basically you’re asking me t chug my drink faster than i normally would (which is already quick …) and go and dance. DAMN. but i will do it.
The place itself is dark and pretty big. Theres plenty of places to sit, the bar isn’t that big and to be honest its one of the cheaper spots in AC. They take cards and don’t have a min. which is good. Free to get in also!

So I club alot in NYC; so when I went to AC for a birthday weekend, the last place I wanted to go was another EDM rage club. So when we went to AC for a birthday party last weekend, we looked for the anti-​club. If you are looking for a different party experience, Boogie Nights is your place!
We walked up to Boogie Nights on a Saturday night and spoke to an attractive blond girl in roller skates. She hooked us up with some comp’d entries and we walked inside without waiting in line and without any hassle.
Boogie Nights played incredible music from the 70s and the 80s. We partied there until 2am and then went to providence. It was definitely an amazing place to start the night off.

I mean, it’s an 80s club. What do you expect?
Okay, hopefully, that lowers the bar. You expect old music and old people, like me. This is not your college and young professionals crowd like most spots. Heck, you probably feel young if you’re in your 30s. In your 40s, perfect.
Other then the obvious, the one big sucking point with this club is the enclosed dance floor. Why on earth is their a small dance floor at a dance club and about 80% more space that’s not part of it? It was quite obvious that there was little to no dancing outside of the designated dance floor, and the floor was way too crowded. Why? Because no one wants to be that guy or gal dancing off to the side looking all out of the place.
But hey, I guess they feel good because the floor looks perfect for the fella wanting to reenact Saturday Night Fever, assuming everyone else clears the way like they did for Travolta.

This place is totally awkward… The vibe is off.
We arrived around 11pm. There were people there, but it wasn’t to crowded. There are go-​go dancers dressed up in Disco outifts and 80s garb. Music videos on the dance floor and a mix of 70s and 80s music. Mostly 70s though and very generic 80s. The crowd was an interesting mix… Mostly 40s and up.
I went with a large group of girls, and we felt out of place and way too young. We looooove 80s though, but the DJ mostly stuck to disco. And a lot of Barry Manilow??? I have no clue why. Besides the $ 15 cover and $ 10 well drinks, the fact that you could not bring drinks on the dancefloor was kind of a bummer.
Overall, I will not be headed back. This place sounded goofy and fun in theory but not in real life. Boo.

Boogie Nights is an awesome place if you are looking for a different AC club experience. It was the main destination for my friend’s bachelorette party on Saturday night. How could a club playing 70s and 80s music not be a blast!?!
Our group had a great time and really fun experience. We did bottle service and had the first table in the center of the room when you walk in. It was a little far from the dance floor but we were able to have conversations without screaming. For our group of ladies in our late 20s and 30s, I think that was a plus. With that being said, most of us were very young when the majority of this music was popular. The DJ played all hits and it was a great mix of fun music. I love that the décor was themed as well. The pinball machine and TV screens showing popular TV shows and movies were super groovy. Our table service was pretty decent. Our mixers were always full and the beer was always restocked. Our section could have been roped off a little more though. At one point a random couple just plowed their way in and we had to tell them that we had a reserved table. I thought it was nice that the ottoman opened up and we were able to safely enough store our purses out of sight.
One of the coolest parts of the night was the impersonators. Boy George performed and Madonna was the MC. They were really nice and treated the bachelorette to some pictures. Our group even got to go up on the balcony above the dance floor and the bachelorette got a shout out.
The crowd was a little on the older side but I thought it was also a group that knew how to be respectful of people’s space. No pushing, shoving or fights… at least this past Saturday night. Some people dressed up in 80s gear but the majority of the club was probably wearing regular 2013 clothing. If you were dressed up you certainly didn’t look out of place. I’d have to say I’m a little jealous of the club’s dancers. Getting paid to dress in 80s clothing and boogie down… not too shabby of a gig.
I would recommend Boogie Nights for anyone looking for a blast from the past and a fun night out!

Went for a Girls Night and got bottle service. This place is more for an older crowd (think middle-​aged divorcees) and not for people my age (25 — 35) unless you want to pick up a cougar.
The 70s/​80s music got old fast. We just needed to hear a Top 100, current hit so we left once our vodka was done.
