Maritime License Training Co is an Atlantic Beach, Florida based corporation. Our mission is to provide professional training and assistance to mariners who are either entering the marine workforce or upgrading an existing license.

History

Established in 2005.

Maritime License Training Co was created at the request of several tugboat companies. It is niched in the workboat/​tugboat market and offers all the USCG Approved Courses to go from Ordinary Seaman to Master 1600 GRT Oceans. It is the only school in the Jacksonville area with a Full Mission Bridge Simulator.

Capt Bob Russo retired from the USCG after 21 years of service as a CWO3. Capt Russo hold a 1600 GRT Oceans and Western rivers license. HE is a publish author on the subjects of Celestial Navigation and Towing Vessel Officer Proficiency Assessments.
