Went in to get an oil change and it was done in minimal time. On top of that, was treated with the utmost respect by the owner John. I can tell he is a genuine person who cares for his customers and will not try to cheat you out of your money. Definitely will return whenever I need maintenance on my car and recommend ABC to anybody no matter what model of vehicle. Happy customer!

This place is going downhill fast. I used to go there regularly but the quality of service and worksmanship keeps me from returning and prompted me to write this review.
They have very little in stock. If you need a part, they will have to call in to get it. They won’t necesarrily tell you that until it’s been ordered so you’re stuck waiting. When I leave my car behind, they won’t call me to tell me when it’s ready. There are three workers and two of them seem to be apprentices. One of them felt the need to tell me how little work the business is doing.
They recently pumped freon into my car without telling me they were going to charge me anything. When I complained that $ 135 dollars was too much he did drop the cost to $ 99. When I got home and researched I realized that anything over $ 100 requires a written estimate. I’m sure the owner knew that when discounting me to $ 99. To me this shows he knowingly deceived me for a measly 100 bucks. Because of that I will never do business there again.
If you don’t mind a couple of apprentices who know very little about cars doing work while the owner tells them what to do, and you don’t mind calling them at regular intervals to find out when your car is ready, and you’re not looking for any professionalism or organization in a company, then this might just be the place for you.

John is a great guy. and a great mechanic. he takes pride in his work and his business. i wish mayport had more business owners like John. i really do try to spend my money at the beaches, at local businesses. John is the only person i approve of my wife taking her vehicle to when i cant take it in.

I have used various services here from tire rotation to body work and paint. I’m very pleased with the most recent work done on my older Toyota because it looks like new. John, the owner, is really good about trying to tell you what you need done, instead if trying to rape your pocket like other competing repair places.
