History
Established in 2011.
Victor Hugo Kriegshaber commissioned this house to be built just before 1900 and lived there until 1924. After that it was a Methodist Church, a dance studio and from 1970 – 2005 the Wrecking Bar Architectural Antiques. In 2010, Bob and Kristine Sandage purchase the property and after 18 months of renovations the Wrecking Bar Brewpub and Marianna Events space opened on June 19, 2011.

In 2010 Bob Sandage and his wife Kristine, purchased the Victor Kriegshaber house at 292 Moreland Avenue in Atlanta. This National Register Historic property was renovated for use as a Brewpub and Events Facility. It has been open since June 2011, voted Atlanta’s Best Brewpub in 2011 – 2013 by «Creative Loafing Atlanta» readers and based on Rate Beer and Beer Advocate, the Wrecking Bar Brewpub is one of the top brewpubs in the United States.
