History

Established in 1912.

Wings is the oldest camera store in the Southeast, originally founded by Henry Wing in 1912. Wings found its home on Prior Street next to the Lowes Grand. Wings changed ownership in the late 1950s to Smitty (Wilena Smith) and had a super store in Buckhead off E. Paces Ferry. The store is now owned by Mike who’s father owned Foto-crafts which was the photolab that operated as the film and processing company for Wings Camera. Mike has been in the photographic business his whole life and is committed to customer service.
