All around great experience here. Super friendly staff, the food is fresh and delicious. I had the Baka burrito. Good portion burrito, with fresh queso on top. Guacamole, rice and black beans come on the side. And prickly pear lemonade! Will be back!

Just another burrito chain, nothing different or special. I tried the Sinaloa Chicken which was a pass and the chipotle pork, which was ok. Chips are free and are probably the highlight of the meal. They are light and airy with a nice crispy aura. Salsa bar has your choice of mild, medium or hot. The queso was pretty good and I recommend getting the guacamole on your burrito for an extra dollar. Not bad, a meal for two for under $ 20. I’ll take it!

Willy’s on the park was poppin Sunday May 22. Busy as hell and all the employees were cool except for NAPKINGUY! So the napkin dispenser was jammed and being a fairly educated woman I knew I could fix this myself. I popped open the dispenser and began pulling out the jammed napkins. As I’m doing this I feel a presence breathing down my right side. As I look up HEREACHESOVERMETOCLOSETHEDISPENSERANDCLOSESITONMYFINGERTWICE! As I’m being assaulted I’m yelling at him to move back. I’m yelling at him about my finger and he reaches in again to close the dispenser like I’m not even there! NOT A SINGLEEMPLOYEECHECKEDTOSEEWHATWASHAPPENING! THEYALLWATCHED! Dissappointed and assaulted in a crowd. If you’re going to Willy’s on Piedmont bring your own napkins and a body gaurd!

I had seen the signs in the windows at many Willy’s with this Baja Burrito picture and it looked really good. I had pretty much given up on them and Moes, the competition, as both just seemed to make these huge foil wrapped things that looked like monster bombs and they would fill them mostly with rice and cheap fillers and concentrate on size rather than quality. Did they actually think they could fool me? Well it must have fooled enough people as they still continued to flood in and buy those things. The Baja Burrito is served in a round foil pan, and its not stuffed to the gills with cheap rice. THANKGOODNESS! Theres also some black beans, salsa, guacamole, and rice. It was quite good when you compare it to the rest of the Mexican Food that is out there in Atlanta. They also have a salsa bar with some good salsas. So overall, much better than what I remember before. I asked before ordering just what is this cheese sauce? Is it real or is it fake? They assured me it is real and that they make it every day. Who knows if thats true. I just wish people would leave cheese as it is. Im tired of guessing is there really any cheese in this? Why do they have to mess with it and make it look like some processed gunk from a jar? My guess is that its probably cheaper. I like REAL cheese, grated and melted on top, NOTSCREWEDWITH… but no in Altanta almost everyone is going to give you a mystery sauce they call cheese and you will really never know what all is in it. So they promised me this is real cheese but theres plenty of other things in there with it. It is thin and runny and it gets this weird skin on it as it cools. I would gladly give them more stars if they could just take real cheese and use it as cheese and leave the mystery for someone else.

Taco and burrito restaurant reminiscent of Chipotle if Chipotle wasn’t s mass market chain. Pork was moist, tender and delicious but the salsas were all a little too sweet for my taste. Homemade lemonade is fantastic. Solid choice if you are hungry after a trip to Piedmont Park but nothing extraordinary.

Me and my fiancé went here after a long day in the park, we both got the Baja burrito both with steak. And a pitcher of frozen margaritas for only 20 $ which isn’t bad at all! The food was delicious and the staff was great as well! Will definitely be coming back!

I love Willy’s and this location is no exception. It’s right by Piedmont Park and has margaritas for the win! The ingredients are fresh and delicious. I could eat it every day! I just love the combination of ingredients wrapped in a burrito or in a bowl. There’s even a salsa bar, they don’t upcharge you. One of the salsas is super spicy, so watch out. Yum, yum yum!

I loved Willie’s and would have eaten here everyday if my brain had allowed me. Atlanta is actually the land of burritos. And Willies was my favorite.

Right across the street from my coworker’s condo, Willy’s was right we were hungry and needed some quick Tex Mex to go with the 12 pack of Dos Equis we bought. After all my years at Emory, I never ate at the Willy’s near campus. So it was odd that I finally decided to try one in Midtown. The ordering style is just like Moe’s or Chipotle. I ordered a burrito — a smothered Baja steak burrito with beans and rice on the side. Guac is complimentary when you ask for it. They asked if I wanted chips. I hesitated, looked over at my oblivious coworker, then naively said no. WHYYYY… They were free, I found out later. There were so many salsas to choose from at the salsa bar, but there was no need since I declined the chips. I wish the lady ringing me up had caught on and offered up the simple information that the chips would be complimentary. Food was relatively cheap(under $ 10), seeing as it was a steak burrito without a drink. If I’m ever near another Willy’s, I may prefer it over Moe’s, although I prefer Chipotle’s burrito bowls any day… But when will Chipotle offer free chips like everyone else?!

Okay… I have passed this place dozens of times going to piedmont park and finally decided to try it out after a nice long walk at park. Big mistake! I specifically told the food preparer no jalapenos on my nachos and she puts them on. She then starts to just pick the jalapenos off and hand to me. I tell her no… the juice is still on the nachos — make them again. THEN, there was a discrepancy betweeen medium and small cheese dip. I said no problem, I will pay for medium cheese dip, but i will pay difference, not for another medium cheese dip. The same woman couldn’t comprehend what I meant. The manager had to come over and fix it and then I reminded them That I didn’t have my margarita yet. The manager apologized. She was doing her best, but her staff needs to improve greatly. Such a shame for a great location as this to have such horrible service. The nachos better be on point! Will let you know…

I love this Willy’s! The food is always, always great, and everyone is really friendly. I’ve never had to wait too long(except behind that unavoidable customer who just can’t decide). I occasionally get a side-eye or eye-roll when I ask for additional chips but hey, I gotta use up that delicious cheese dip!

Ever since moving to Atlanta, I’ve strolled past Willy’s just about every morning when I walk my dog through Piedmont Park. Two months later, I finally stopped by after seeing a «Life without Mexican food is no life at all» meme. My assessment: it’s an A-OK eatery to grab a burrito. In other words, it’s not worth driving across town to visit, but it’ll somewhat satisfy your craving. *** I. FOOD I tasted their Frito Burrito, and failed to realize that they actually put Fritos in it.(Just no.) When I saw my burrito-ista open a bag, ready to pour the contents of it onto my tortilla, I almost lunged across the glass window to tell him to stop. About the Frito-less burrito itself, it had adobe chicken, a special sauce, guac, tomato, onions, and other fixings. They have a variety of toppings that’s similar to your standard Chipotle or Qdoba. After receiving your order, you can top it with different salsas ranging from mild to hot. I loaded mine up with their hot, however, my tongue didn’t find it spicy at all. II. SERVICE It’s fine. No complaints. Very fast. III. ATMOSPHERE/DÉCOR It’s casual, clean, and plenty of space for small groups. The bathroom I used was clean. IV. PRICES It definitely won’t break the bank. I only paid about $ 11 for my monstrous burrito. V. OVERALL I think Willy’s is a solid option, if you want a burrito that’s similar to a Chipotle, Qdoba, or the like. And I think it’s great that a local chain is being repped in the infamous Piedmont Park. However, it’s more of a place that I would reluctantly eat at, because it’s not an establishment where Mexicans would actually go to eat Mexican food.(But that’s fine. There’s a place for Willy’s obviously.) It’s mainly because they’ve left out a lot of important pillars, when it comes to Mexican food. –They could incorporate carnitas, al pastor, or carne asada into their menu. –Fresh made tortillas would be nice, too. The company should know that people will pay that premium price point. –Sell horchata. –Actually provide spicy salsa. –Again, sell horchata.

Good food… Great margaritas… needs to be a bit cleaner. We have been 3 timed recently and will go back but hope it is a bit tidier.

First time eating here with a group of my friends… I really liked it. Service was good and food was great– I liked it more than chipotle. They had more food options and sauces. I ordered the steak quesadilla and it was delicious. Loved the guac, sour cream and chips as well. My friends ordered the burrito and they loved it. The place and bathrooms were very clean. Recommend this place.

This location is in the heart of Midtown. So there are a variety of people that comes by while at the park. His food is pretty good. The food is usually good of course. Unfortunately mine wasn’t that warm. Customer service was iffy. One worker was yelling and cursing at a customer who was trying to enter the restroom while the work er was using it.

This is a tex-mex restaurant; completely off from a Mexicana Grill. Aside from not having many customers, the actual restaurant was filthy. Where the servers were, they kept on mixing the veggies and using the same spoons. I walked out even before I got to order anything. NEXT!

Before getting into this Willy’s, I should briefly state my opinion on Cali-Mex burrito joints as a whole. Moe’s is awful.(I’m from Atlanta… I’ll never get beyond the names of Moe’s burritos or their funky taste) Qdoba(which we don’t have in Atlanta) has tasty meats but terrible sauces. Chipotle is way too expensive if you get meat. I seem to be in a minority that likes the sofritas as a meat substitute, and Tabasco’s Chipotle sauce is god-given gift. But Willy’s is really the crown jewel of Atlantan burritos. If you’ve never had their chili d’arbol sauce and you like vinegar sauces, then you’ve been missing out. I stick to the adobe chicken for either my burrito or quesadilla needs. Add sauteed onions and peppers because Michelle Obama told you that you need vegetables. Guess what? It makes it delicious. After you’ve settled down and are opening the styrofoam container of your order for the first time, squint your eyes as the clamshell opens. Though a food fit for a king is inside, it doesn’t take a Midas to shovel it down one’s throat.

Willys on Piedmont is very convenient. It’s right by the park for a post outdoor meal. Food is cheap and they season their meat well. All entrees come with free chips and a salsa bar. In a time when you think there’s no difference in places for Mexican food, Willys offers a great meal at a good price.
