The William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum in Atlanta celebrates and commemorates Jewish history, culture, and art through a constant stream of events featuring movies, books, discussions, genealogy, and group tours. Our three display areas feature The Holocaust, Southern Jewish Heritage & History, and a constantly changing gallery of engaging themes ranging from the Art of Maurice Sendak to lifestyle displays of the art of Jewish cooking. Our museum also contains the Cuba Family Archives for Southern Jewish History, which houses thousands of manuscript and photograph collections, as well as hundreds of artifacts, textiles, and oral histories related to southern Jewish history and the Holocaust. History

Established in 1996.

The museum was originally established as an archive for Atlanta Jewish institutions and families. It quickly grew to include the popular exhibition Absence of Humanity: The Holocaust Years 1933 – 1945 which is frequented by students and people of all races and backgrounds interested in lessons from the Holocaust. Currently the Breman Museum features events, a variety of cultural and historical exhibitions and daily activities for all ages.
