WaxJam Stage like Recording Studio is the only one of it’s kind in Atlanta; The only place where artists can come to experience the sound, look and feel of a real onstage-like live performance in a studio. With the artist vocals going through makie mixers and played back in the headset served with a dim red and/or blue light setting; with strobe and emergency lights; it becomes a show-time environment; transforming the artist studio session performance into a live onstage event, and it’s all captured on the pro tools recording

History

Established in 1996.

Established in 1996 under the name Eastcoast Projects, then serving as a mediator between major and indie record companies, as an A&R company. As a small business owner, Tim Grant became very interested in the preproduction side of the business; that’s when he created Waxjam Records.

Tim Grant: My objective for creating the recording studio division of WaxJam Records, was to provide quality low cost recording studios for local artists.

waxJam records: established in 1996 under the name Eastcoast Projects; then serving as a mediator between major and indie record companies; as an A&R company.

As a small business owner; Tim Grant became very interested in the preproduction side of the business; that’s when he created WaxJam Records.

Tim Grant: My objective for creating the recording studio division of WaxJam Records; was to provide quality low cost recording studios for local artists.

Some of my biggest challenges was and still are: Educating and introducing new customer to the general practices of recording studios; such as price comparisons of our company and those of other companies; So if we advertise a promo offering $ 35 per hour; it doesn’t mean to expect a low quality recording; It means it is just a promotion to give low budget artist consumers a season where they can afford to record that mix tape, Song, or lp.
