The staff is wonderful and the store is so pretty and well-stocked. I love being able to see so many different patterns and products in person. Sometimes what looks great on the website looks different when you see it in person. Prices can seem steep, but they have great sales and send out coupons on your birthday and other occasions. They wrap up your purchases so nicely and receipts go in cute little envelopes. It’s a wonderful place to go for teacher, friend, mom gifts! :-) And with a gift receipt, they can always come back and select something different. At my last visit to the store I learned that a portion of all their profits go into their Breast Cancer Foundation whose funds go directly to a university for research and when they learned my mom is currently recovering from breast cancer, the young women on staff wrote her a personal card with an encouraging message — so kind!

This review is for Vera Bradley Corp, not specifically this location. The products are cute and stylish, but the quality is poor and the customer service is a joke. My daughter’s backpack, costing over $ 100, burst a zipper on a compartment that she never used so customer service told me to ship it to them for inspection and strongly suggested that they were geared towards serving their customers. I primarily buy mid-high to high level products from places like Nordstrom, Niemann’s and Saks so I am used to paying for good service. Surprise! Two weeks after I sent in the backpack they sent it back to me and said it wasn’t «defective». Never again will I buy such garbage from a company with Walmart service.

I don’t know what it is about these floral patterns that draws you in. I first encountered the brand at one of the mega sales of discontinued patterns at the Cobb Galleria many moons ago. At that time I bought two handbags, a belt, three scarves for $ 46. I’ve never encountered one of those sales again or pricing that good. Someone how, I ended up on their mailing list, and its been an on-off again relationship ever since. I never shop here unless there is a coupon or promotion going on. Say what you want, but I’m not paying some of these prices for the floral purses and handbags. So that brings me to my latest visit. If you are on the mailing list, they send a coupon for your birthday month. In the past, its been $ 20 off a $ 20 purchase, so I’ve capture a wallet and change purse in the past and mostly had to pay about $ 8 at most. Recently, I was planning a vacation, and wanted a new overnight bag. Imagine my joy when I entered the store and they had 3 designs on sale for 40% off and this years coupon was for 40% off a single item, so I ended up getting my $ 98 travel bag for $ 21. Now that is a sale!!! The staff here is really friendly. They are on what I call the Luxury wing of Phipps, so they close before the rest of the mall does. I think they close at 8, but it may be 7. I know that a few stores on that wing close at 7pm. There is never an issue with them holding an item for you, and I’ve called and had them to do so on more than one occasion. There are no pushy sales tactics, I think the people that work here, really enjoy their working here. There is always some percentage off sale going on, but most times you will find that it requires some other full purcahse to get a percentage off another item.(for example, purcahse a book-bag at full price and get 20% off a phone case). Worth a visit if only to see the vivid array of colors and pattens, and to wonder why it never occurred to you that you needed pencils with yellow flowers on them. 81 of 100

I’ll update my review because I’ve given VB a try again and I forgive them for having crappy hours. I have spent many hours here looking for gifts or baby bags or etc and the sales people are always so nice and friendly. So yes, I’d recommend this place — just be sure you call for their hours if you’re trying to make it there in time after work for a promotion.

I love Vera Bradley and I really love the staff at this store. They are always so kind and helpful. When all of my Christmas presents for my staff were stolen out of the trunk of my car. They flagged my account at the store incase someone tried to return any of it and they helped me pick out some items to replace what had been stolen. I could not ask for better customer service during a very difficult time. They also sent me a gift card for my birthday, so if you go in, make sure you give them your info.

I call it «I want it Vera Badly» since my wife, daughter, and mother-in-law are big fans of their quality offerings. With the three of them it means I’m in here regularly for gifts or window shopping. The staff is friendly and helpful and I really appreciate that they provide seating for the bored men-folk. This outlet is their favorite as it has a huge selection.

I’m a little Vera crazy. I own pieces in 6 different patterns(and had a 7th, but it was all stolen from me). I blame it on my best friend and the peer pressure of a VB sale during a girls weekend. I blame it on one of my husband’s good friends who owned a store full of nice things of which the only things I could afford were Vera pieces. I was thrilled to have an actual VB store open here in Atlanta. I’d been to the one in Milwaukee and seen the rugs and china and linens, which most of the boutique stores do not carry. So in December, when I was looking for something specific, that I couldn’t find at any of the boutiques in my area, I called up the Phipps store. They had it in stock, and they were willing to hold it for me until the close of business the following day. When I went in to pick it up, I was impressed by the very kind and helpful staff. That ended up being the first of 4 trips in one month. However, because it’s a corporate store, the sales staff is a little more persistent(after all, it’s in Phipps, so they have to make their numbers!), and there are never any retired pieces. When a pattern is retiring here, it’s available for a certain window, after which it’s all shipped back to corporate, unlike the boutique stores that hang on to the retired items and sell them at major discount. So Saturday, I returned the favor of my best friend who introduced me to Vera by taking her to the store at Phipps.
