The first time I went to Velocity I was in a mess with my car. I had an odd whining sound coming from under the hood and went to several places to get an idea of what I would be paying (broke college student with a 2007 Honda civic, to give you an idea of my situation).
Velocity happened to the the 3^rd place I went and they instantly confirmed the issue with me and gave me a price that was ¹⁄₃ of what one place quoted me and more than half the price that the first place quoted. Sounded too good to be true! I was in and out in under 2 hours and got treated very well while I was there. Since then, I have gone to Velocity for everything including oil changes.
The mechanics are straightforward with you and explain everything to you before they start to work on your car. As much as I hate being a female and getting punked by so many different mechanics in the past (why do they do that to us??), I can honestly say the guys at Velocity Total Car Care have never suckered me into anything! They are honest and straightforward, so look no further. Make these guys your mechanics and you won’t regret it. :)

I got recommended this place from a friend and he told me to go and ask for Vinson.
Im glad I did, this guy is as honest as they come and went through what was wrong with my car step by step.
Although i couldn’t get all of the recommended repairs done now due to funds, I will surely be back and be taking my car here for as long as I am in Atlanta.

I started going to Velocity by word of mouth. I had a regular mechanic but they were closed and I was in a bind. Isn’t that always the case when its your automobile. I was on my 2^nd clutch in less than a year and had no idea why. I called Velocity and got Vincent. He sounded terribly busy but he took the time to get my vehicle info and my number. He promised to call me back. In the mean time i called a few more places getting estimates. Vincent called me back in about 10 minutes with the best and worse case scenarios. I dropped off my truck and hoped for the best. The first thing that news’s saying is that Velocity is a fair and honest shop. As a female i hesitate when it comes to dealing with my transportation and those that keep it running. All of the men at Velocity are nice. They called to keep me updated on what was going on with my truck and didn’t do anything without making sure I was ok with both the work and the price. Vincent &Tony made a bad situation a little less painful.
