Meet the Business Owner

Luca V.

Business Owner

Luca is a veteran maestro pizzaiolo who brings his Italian heritage to Atlanta’s most authentic pizzeria, Varuni Napoli.

As a Naples, Italy native, Luca was born into the Neapolitan food and culture. Growing up in a family of chefs, it was no surprise Luca would eventually open his own restaurant. His family instilled in him the importance of upholding the integrity of Neapolitan cuisine, something he instills in all his staff at Varuni Napoli.

After moving from Naples to the U.S., Luca worked in several top kitchens before deciding to open up his own pizzeria. However, before opening the doors, Luca studied new and time-honored traditions within the world of pizza in order to craft the perfect combination of new and old traditions.

Step into Varuni Napoli and immediately begin to experience the Italian culture with Luca singing along to his favorite Italian opera while hand-crafting authentic pizza made especially for you.
