The service provider left below the time limit of the cleaning was over. I would recommend that you strictly supervise in order to get your moneys worth!

If you asked me a year ago how to rate Top Quality Clean, I would have given them 4 stars.
I was originally a Groupon customer in 2011 and I was very impressed with the work that the cleaners did in my apartment, so I continued to be their customer.
However, on January 17 2013, I had another cleaner (I won’t name names) who was an absolute nightmare.
1) She was extremely late (my appointment was between 8:00 am-12:00 pm)-she showed up at like 2 pm;
2) I was told she had already broken a vacuum and that she would need to borrow one-​which I said was fine;
3) While here, she rushed to get things clean — and mostly it was okay, but the kitchen sinks were not wiped down and there were still smears on the bathroom mirror and the fan in the bedroom wasn’t wiped. It seemed like she was in an extreme rush and I was busy with my work, so I didn’t say anything;
4) While here, she handled my Dyson vacuum without asking me how it works — so I showed it to her after she almost dropped it on the floor. I warned her to watch out for a large cat toy wand (I tried to pick them all up before she came but I missed one). — she inevitably sucked it up in the vacuum. She completely broke a piece off my vaccum so it wouldn’t stand up properly.
5) She broke her own mop while she was here.
I was travelling outside of the country to a completely off-​the-​grid vacation so I could not contact them via email or phone. I emailed them as soon as I got home on Jan 30. I even tried calling to talk to them while I was on my way to my 6:45 am flight on Jan 18^th and when I was en route to the US via Nicaragua NO response at all (hello international phone charges)
I travel a lot for work, mostly internationally, so I do not have the time to follow up on a complaint nor do I always have access to a phone/​internet connection. I called them and left a voicemail in April to follow up — since I had heard absolutely nothing. Still no response.
Finally, today I sent an email and I get told off that they have a strict 24-​hour guarantee. That’s fine and dandy, but the maid you sent DID break my vacuum and was awful. Overall, awful customer service.

This is the worst cleaning company I have ever used. Please don’t waste your money!
I received a package of 2 hour cleanings as a gift since I was 10months preggers and I thought it was a sweet gesture since I just moved and could definitely use the help.
These are my main complaints:
1. customer service: They don’t understand what that means
They broke my vacuum, unloaded dirty dishes into the cupboards, stained my carpets and didn’t apologize or offer to fix.
When I reached out to ask for help they informed me that it wasn’t their problem because I hadn’t notified them within 24hours.
(did I mention that I have a 1month old, and I don’t sleep, barely eat, and the last thing on my mind would have been to read their policies)
Basically they didn’t care if it happened so they lost me as a customer with that reply.
2. No consistency:
The size and cleanliness of my townhouse didn’t change, but each visit the amount of work that was done was drastically different:
today for example it took the cleaner 45 minutes to clean one small bathroom.
So for her 2 hour visit she finished the bathroom and swept the floor.
No dusting, no mopping, no vacuuming. I cleaned the kitchen while she was here.
She didn’t take out the trash, she really just cleaned 3 small bathrooms and left.
I would have to say of the 6 visits that I have used their services I have only had my townhouse «cleaned» once.
I tried to request this cleaner again, but she apparently quit and started her own cleaning company

I’ve had two different professional cleaners come out from Top Quality Clean, and I’ve been very impressed with their work. They arrive on time and do a good job.
The reason that I’m not giving them 5 stars is that they force you to make an appointment through their web site if you’ve got a Groupon. That’s not such a big deal, but if you don’t fill out every piece of the form (even the ones that are not required) and hit submit, you’ll have to start all over again. Get your web master to fix the form, Top Quality Clean, it’s super irritating!

i purchased a groupon for this service several months back.
my intention was to use it before i hosted a birthday soirée at my loft, but when the guest of honor informed me he would not be in town for his birthday (grumble… but that’s not why you called) i decided that a thorough cleaning before i started back to school (i’m a teacher) would be in order.
i’ve never had someone come in and clean, so i felt… awkward… being there while the cleaning took place.
the groupon was for 3 hrs. so, i stayed for the first hr, giving specific instructions (don’t worry about the laundry room, please clean the oven if there’s time, etc) and then left in order to go to an atm to get cash for a tip.
i returned at the 2 hr. mark where the cleaning lady informed me she was finished…
really? because when i do a half-​assed job it only takes 2 hrs. and aren’t you «contracted» for 3?
anywho,
i did a walk through, and sure, everything LOOKED clean, tipped her handsomely, then she left.
upon proper inspection– i mean really, i’m not a douche, am i going to white glove the place?!- i found several places that were not dusted, the bathroom damp, but not really scrubbed, and the oven cleaned but really only sprayed with cleaner and not wiped down.
would i hire them again? no.
was my place cleaner than before they arrived? yes.
to be fair, a friend also used this groupon and LOVED the results.
i supposed it all comes down to the specific employee that comes out.

What better birthday present can a girl give herself than a clean house without lifting a finger? In my world, there aren’t many gifts that could top that. Unfortunately, it’s not a gift I fully received because I decided to hire Top Quality Clean.
I’ll start by saying that if you want your bathroom to be cleaner than it has ever been (which is quite a feat for my bathroom, considering it was conceived in the 1920s), you won’t be disappointed by Top Quality Clean. I could not stop staring in awe at all the bright white surfaces gleaming and sparkling around me.
Once my bathroom trance was broken, however, that’s where the problems began. There were multiple surfaces (windowsills, doors, cabinets, etc.) that were all left untouched, though they were part of their standard package. I had also requested that they clean my oven and refrigerator, which they didn’t.
When I called to complain, they stated that there was a miscommunication with their cleaning crew about the fridge and the oven. They offered to send someone out to clean these appliances and clean the areas that were overlooked. I requested that they give me a discounted rate on the appliances they missed, and the representative I spoke to said she would discuss with a manager and call me back. She called me back alright — the next morning when she huffily told me that the cleaning crew was at my house waiting to be let in, though we hadn’t agreed on pricing or an appointment time.
Top Quality Clean doesn’t offer the best service, pricing or communication. If you’re looking for a clean home without lifting a finger, I recommend looking elsewhere.

After three years of using another service that I wasn’t completely satisfied with, I decided to hire Top Quality Clean. Unlike my last service which rotated people on the cleaning jobs, this service assigns one person to your home on a regular basis. When I interviewed the manager, he reviewed with me the checklist of routine cleaning tasks and added some additional tasks that I requested.
So far, I am very pleased with my cleanings. They are very thorough and unlike my last cleaners, I don’t come home and have to put things back in their proper place or worse yet, redo a cleaning to my satisfaction.
I’m very satisfied with their service and confident in recommending them to others.
