I am laid over in ATL after getting off a horrible flight and I spot Three Taverns Craft Beers. I wander in and look at their taps, so many great sounding beers! «A Night in Brussels», «Prince of Pilsen», «Le Peche Mode», are just a few of the varieties. I had the«A Night In Brussels» and another one named«Single Intent». Both were incredible! The food was tasty as well, but oh my the beer! 3TCB does Belgian right! And to the people complaining about the price, this establishment is in an Airport so what do you expect? This is a normal price for most major metro areas in the Northeast(where I currently live). EDIT: Added a photo of the taps and an enthusiastic beer drinker!

Visited the 3 Taverns on A concourse. I arrived around 11:30 on a Sunday and sat at the bar. The first words out of the staffs mouth was, we don’t serve alcohol until 12:30. That’s fine, I wanted to eat. The staff was more I interested in talking amongst themselves then checking on the patrons. No one asked me if my good was ok or if I needed anything. Every person that walked in after me was also greeted with ‘we don’t serve until 12:30′. How about starting with a Hello and then finding what they want. I won’t go here again. Food was mediocre. Got the seared tuna salad.

I’m generally speaking not a fan of airport food; however this place is consistently a great experience. Last time I visited it was called the Sweetwater Brewing Company. With the name change, I was concerned the burger wouldn’t be as good. The burger was better and the IPA beer was great. I chose to have one beer, «A Night on Ponce IPA», and it left me considering ways to postpone the next leg of my flight.

Drinks, as expected at the airport, were pricey. If you like IPAs, it’s a good place! If you like wheats, porters, or stouts(like me), then this is not the place for you(there are none). I’m not sure if the bartender felt bad that none of the beers I liked were options, but I ordered a Moscow mule(~$ 11) and it was VERY strong. The bartender we had was also more than willing to be creative and make drinks not on the menu, which is awesome. He wouldn’t tell is exactly what he made, but my guess was a pomegranate and some other fruit martini, which was delicious! The bartenders were hilarious and great company while we were waiting from our flight delay!

Had a quick bite here before boarding our flight back to L.A. The food was ok but service was relatively slow considering being in an airport and all diners were dining pre flight. Overall it was ok, but I think we’ll explore other options on our next visit.
