Great place for your weight lifting supplement needs and such. Super friendly staff, great selection. Staff may not be as knowledgeable about their product line than the staff at most GNC locations, but unlike at GNC, the friendly Vitamin Shoppe folks don’t *pretend* to know more than they do and they also don’t try to sell their brand of supplements to the exclusion of other brands — something GNC does *all the time*.

I’m a member of another vitamin store chain, so I usually visit The Vitamin Shoppe for something specific. Right now, it’s the only place I can find the skin, hair and nail vitamins I use, so I’m here every other month or so for a refill. In addition to my skin, hair and nail vitamin, I also use The Vitamin Shoppe brand probiotics. The store I’m a member of stopped selling their brand probiotics that I liked and so in trying other brands, I found that The Vitamin Shoppe brand was the most reasonably priced while giving me the probiotic level that I use. Sometimes they have buy-one-get-one-free sales on their brand and I get these at a high discount. I also buy toiletries here, such as Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap, Dead Sea Miinerals bar soap, Alba botanical shaving cream, and other body goodies just to try. They sell lots of toiletries and most of them are along the natural, paraben-free type of products. For this kind of store, the selection is pretty good.(Better than Target but not as good as Whole Foods.) They also have protein bar snacks and protein shakes along with lots and lots of supplements, which is of course, what they are all about. I believe that when my membership runs out at the other store, I’ll likely become a member at The Vitamin Shoppe. And if The Vitamin Shoppe sold candy, I’d probably give it five stars. *candy junkie* Unilocal 100 #37

I found the staff to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I am starting a new program that requires a lot of different products(supplements, whey protein, etc) that I’ve never used. I had lots of questions. The staff answered all of my questions and even offered suggestions for alternatives to help me save money. I price compare between Amazon and GNC for the best deal. I found the prices to be comparable to Amazon and lower than GNC for identical products. The only downside is the parking. The location shares parking with Kroger and Office Depot, so it’s sometimes challenging finding a spot.

I don’t know why this place has such low ratings on the reviews but I’m going to give them 5 stars because every time I come in here(at least 5 times now) they(the employees) are nothing but helpful. — And I always find what I want. Today I came in for amino acids and some vitamin B drops. They also have lots of things on sale and if you look around you can get some really good deals on different supplements vitamins, etc. Oh! & I was surprised and impressed to find an amazing variety of different teas, like the coconut chai, for starters. This is my vitamin-go-to shop. Close, convenien, t and great customer service. Until next time…

Wonderful selection of products and they are always willing to part with a few samples. On the downside sometimes I wish the employees had more knowledge about the products in the store or they had at least one specialist on site at all time to answer questions. You can find pretty much anything you need here but do your own research first and know what you are looking for.

so yeah… customer service here, pretty much sucks. this place is cool if you know exactly what you want, where it is, and have no questions. But step outside of those conditions and it becomes a sucky experience. I had questions about chia seeds. The employees were all standing at the cash registers, not doing anything, talking amongst each other. I asked a question and all employees scampered and acted like suddenly they had something crazy to do. The unlucky one-who couldn’t get away-sensed they lost the game at drawing sticks and had to help me. She was short, uninformative, not even looking at me, had crazy attitude and kept walking away as I was asking my 3 freaking questions. And she was the freaking manager!!! seriously???
