The Toy Emporium is a very special children’s place that features multicultural dolls and toys from around the globe, a STEM Science Center, «Special Needs» toys, children’s literature, custom children’s stationery, a doll spa and salon, baby gifts, multicultural party supplies, and themed parties.

History

Established in 2005.

On July 1, 2014, The Toy Emporium & Party World acquired Dolls Like Me, LLC, a 10 year-​old family-​run business that sold multicultural toys online. Founded in 2005, Dolls Like Me was the recipient of numerous awards including the 2007 Wonder Women of Toys Award from the Women In Toys organization. Dolls Like Me has been also featured on the Tavis Smiley and WBAI radio programs; in numerous newspapers including the NY Daily News, the New York Post, the Bergen Record, etc.; Playthings, Essence, Jet and Latina magazines; and on the Telemundo and ABC Television networks. Dolls Like Me was named a company to watch in the December 2006 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine.
