Newish place that brings a much needed good Mexican place to Broad St. Working around this area, Broad is the best option when it comes to eating out, so I’m happy to see this place. I had the chicken tinga burrito and it was delicious. I added sour cream to it for no extra charge. The queso was pretty good too and I liked the chips. Chips at Mexican places can go either way and I was satisfied. There was enough food to take home leftovers(the burritos are pretty big). Definitely good product for the price. It’s not super large inside, but there’s enough room to sit comfortably and the food comes out pretty fast. You order at the counter toward the back of the restaurant. Would recommend for lunch! Not sure how this place does for dinner.

I decided to take my co-worker’s recommendation one afternoon for my lunch. He said the brisket tacos were great. Once I walked in, I sat @ the bar & looked around. Seemed as maybe with h the name and some of their bottled beverages that I may have found an authentic Mexican spot. I ordered carne asada, carnitas & brisket tacos. My mouth was watering. If U’ve ever eaten @ Felipe’s in New Orleans & ate their carnitas… not what my palette expected with what I ordered from Taqueria on Broad. Will not return to patronize this restaurant

What a delightful new lunch spot on Broad St. We got tacos and quesadillas and burritos galore. The beans were excellent! The chicken tinga is awesome. You order at the counter from a limited menu — which I think is smart. I’m always interested in a few things on a menu done well rather than 1728293 options that are just average. The vegetarian options are kind of blah though. Could use some alternative protein options. In general it was a very good lunch.

Really neat little restaurant on Broad. The staff is nice, food comes out quickly, and it tastes delicious. Would have given it 5 stars but I was disappointed in the discrepancy between the special options. You can get 2 tacos and 2 sides, 1 burrito and 2 sides, or 1 quesadilla and 2 sides for under $ 10. The special is a great deal unless you order the tacos because they are quite small. My coworkers got the burritos and quesadillas instead and definitely got more bang for their buck. Other than that, though, my food tasted great and I really liked the place.

Ordered the steak burrito and it was really good. Tastes more authentic than the fast food Moe’s or Willy’s burritos. Prices well. Staff is very friendly and the food comes out quickly. Would definitely return for lunch or dinner.

I started going soon after they opened and I confess that I’ve eaten here 4 times in the last 10 days so I feel qualified to give a review. It’s just delicious! The empanadas are so yummy and I’ve been through most of the tacos but lately I’ve been getting burritos in a bowl(not an actual bowl — they put the burrito stuffings in lettuce which is even yummier). The jalapeño cream is perfectly spicy and I love the beans and the addition of avocado in the burrito. I’ve been alternating between carnitas(it’s cubes of pork — what’s not to love?) and the barbacoa which is so wonderfully flavored. On one of my recent trips, the guy at the register(I think they are brothers and then there are 2 women — maybe sister and wife?) «encouraged»(okay, I was an easy sell) to get a dessert empanada. I got the the one with rice inside that is sprinkled with cinnamon to share with my coworker. Suffice it say we *have* to get one every time we go now. The inside is clean and not dingy like some of the places on Broad. Everyone who works there is friendly and food is ready in a flash. I’m thrilled that they’re part of my lunch rotation and happily go weekly(or more) to get my fix!

Excellent food for a quick lunch, not the same menu as other Mexican type restaurants. Hint, skip the special and get more tacos, you will wish you had.

This place is the real deal. I rarely leave comments, but I just HAD to for Taqueria on Broad. This Mexican restaurant is as authentic and flavorful as I’ve had in the entire metropolitan area, from Cumming to Buford Highway to Downtown.

Very good food. Most authentic Spanish food you can find on Georgia state campus probably. Definitely try the beef empanada and the steak burrito(ask for salsa to give it a little kick). Food came out fast and service was friendly! Definitely coming back :)

My friend and I walk past here last week and decided to try it this week on break from school. Brand new. Small cool spot with very nice design on the inside. We were instantly greeted and handed menus. We went up to order at the register and the guy was very sweet and helped with explaining the menu and what he would recommend. We received our food quickly and enjoyed every bite! Thanks for coming on campus guys. We will be back.

Great new spot on broad for downtown professionals and students. I had a pork carnitas burrito, chicken taco, pork taco, queso, potato bacon soup, and a jarritos soda. All fantastic favors. Would definitely return. For everything listed above was $ 21. Only thing I would change is I wish they had a liquor license but they only opened a week ago, it’s probably in the works.

A new Taqueria near my work and a new spot for lunches. Taqueria on Broad seems to offer Burritos, Empanadas and Tacos along with the 3 «S’s» sides, soups and salads. I went for the tacos today ordering Carnitas and Asada tacos and side of beans and rice. Pretty tasty! The portions on the rice and beans seem a bit small but the tacos were perfect. Excited to have another lunch option now that’s tastes great!
