Specialties
The Photographers Studio is a nonprofit community resource for photographers of all levels. Our mission is to encourage the development and growth of photography. We have an extensive educational and outreach program to help people get started or develop as photographers.
Our space includes two darkrooms for film and print development, a 30×40″ print burner, a 40″ color processor as well as several enlargers that can handle a wide range of prints. We also have two Epson film scanners that can process any film format up to 8×10 and can handle wet or dry mounting.
Our digital printing lab has a 44″ Epson 9890 and a 22″ Epson 3880 Professional Printer. We use the Epson UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta Ink Technology inks. You simply bring in your own paper and pay only for the amount of inks you use. We also have a color calibration tool to help you get the most out of your prints.
We have two shooting studio areas, and offer white, black and grey seamless paper setups. The studios have a wide variety of strobe and modifier gear that you can use. The studio rental is FREE for TPS members.
