Very pleasant… I got lost so I was late however it was very relaxing and she took her time. I enjoyed my gift card and wilm return to this location now that I know where they are.

This is the best massage I’ve ever had!
I visited the Buckhead Massage Company earlier this week and had an amazing experience. I am a new mother and have a very tight back due to nursing and expressed those concerns to my massage therapist Cheryl upon arrival. She was very receptive and focused on my back and problem areas during the massage. She used hot towels throughout and really worked the areas that were the tightest. The pressure was perfect — she would adjust based on my cues. After the massage ended, she told me about specific areas that she noted were tightest and printed out some stretching exercises to help with my discomfort. I feel so much better after my massage and will definitely be returning!
Some other items to note. Their location is in the heart of Buckhead and there is plenty of complimentary parking. Their lobby and massage room were both very relaxing and clean. My whole experience was great and it’s easily the best massage I’ve ever had!

Great massage spot! Would highly recommend the hot stone massage! My masseuse used the perfect amount of pressure and really hit my stressed points. The atmosphere is clean, relaxing and intimate and the staff is very professional and willing to do what it takes to really make your experience memorable.

In town on business and scheduled a last minute massage. My legs were killing me from high mileage runs. They were very accommodating and squeezed me in. The place was very nice and clean. Massage was fantastic and the masseuse Verona was very knowledgeable. She also gave me some tips on stretching as well. Will definitely come back when I return for another business trip.

Me and my husband wanted a couples massage on a Sunday. Found this place on Unilocal and were able to get a same day appt! One Unilocaler said it was a hidden gem. I definitely agree! I was nervous because we had never heard of or been here but it was awesome! The staff was friendly and professional. We got 90min massages. The therapist were great! And I know what a good massage is! I usually go to the ritz Carlton oconee lodge spa… and that place is awesome! Every time I’m in atl and want a massage, I will go here every time! Thanks girls!

Great unassuming massage therapy establishment. Therapists were polite and adjusted based on pressure preference. Rooms were clean and inviting. A great place — I would absolutely return.

I was in desperately in need of a deep tissue massage. I was away from home with a back in pain, and was lucky enough to find an opening at this establishment.
I require deep tissue massage, and I am always leery of most places that claim to offer it.
Rebecca was fantastic! She combined many forms of massage and expertly and masterfully took me out of pain and make my entire body feel comfortable and relaxed.
This small, boutique massage center is a gem.

I have been at this massage place few times now and never been disappointed. Since the place has changed owner it has improved drastically. The staff is lovely and the therapists are great. The location is very convenient if you live in the Buckhead area. A must try, clean, easy, and super friendly. The therapists know their job very well. You will not be disappointed

I’ve had massages, and being in town for a few weeks for work, it’s always a gamble finding a place when you need a quick fix.
I found BMC online, and called to book an appointment for that evening. Well, it was more than I could have expected!
Not only was the reception warm and inviting, but I had an amazing experience. The massage was firm, and my therapist listened to my verbal cues and my breathing to release tension that had been building for weeks.
It’s a beautiful thing when you find a therapist who enjoys her craft and my only wish is that this place existed in Chicago!
I’ll be back every time I visit Atlanta!

I’ve never had anything but great experiences here. I’ve used a few different masseuses and they’ve all been wonderful and knowledgable. I’ve struggled with TMJ issues and they have helped tremendously. I value their expertise in the area. I’ve never had a problem getting an appointment and I appreciate the non-​spa feel. It’s comfortable without the forced relaxation of the spa.

I received a Swedish/​deep tissue massage at Buckhead Massage and Rebecca did an incredible Job! I had alot of tension in my neck and upper back and she was able to get work it out. I would reccommend buckhead massage to anyone searching for deep tissue massage!

I found out about Buckhead Massage from going on Unilocal and reading reviews. I was new to Atlanta at the time and had tried Massage Envy and Spa Sydell but did not like their sales tactic at the end with trying to get me to buy packages for discounted rates.
At Buckhead massage, I have had Swedish/​deep tissue massages with a few different therapists there. The most recent therapists I have used are Cindy and Verona. Both spoke to me before the massage and asked if there were any areas that were giving me trouble or that they were like to focus on. From all the massage places I have tried in Atlanta, this is by far my favorite place to go. Rates are also very reasonable.

I purchased a Half-​Off Depot Coupon thinking this would be a great way to find a new masseuse, planning on regular visits. Boy were we wrong! The Owner refused to honor our coupon so I had to pay again! The location was seedy with a second floor walk up (no elevators), exterior entrance like a 1950’s motel, despite the musty smell I think it was fairly clean and the masseuse seemed competent. But the dishonest manner in which I was lured in with the Half-​Off Depot Coupon, confirmed the certificate was OK in advance and then not honored after the massage tells me this is not a legitimate business. No I won’t go back.

Flat out the best Massage (s). Massage (s) pluracy, in that, in addition to being awesome, Cynthia is extreme selective of her staff and only hires the best, so service is uniformly excellent. I find the rates a great value (she should raise her prices), environment is very quiet and relaxing, and location is fantastic. It’s the only place I will get a massage in Atlanta. In a business that is seeing a lot of expansion with chains all over the place, this is one small business that focuses on what they do best and does a fantastic job.

I went here because I had a Groupon. I had absolutely no problems scheduling an appointment to use my Groupon or actually using my Groupon.
This is a very small office, sort of tucked away in the back of a building on Piedmont in Buckhead. But, they have a parking lot in back and a back entrance so it was very easy to get in and out.
The office is pretty no-​frills. I had an appointment with Jaimyn and he was the only one in the office when I got there. He had me fill out the forms and then I was in right away. There was music in the massage room, which was calming, but they definitely don’t go for that spa vibe (which is fine with me).
My massage was great. I told him the one spot that was sore and he worked on that and then just general relaxation. My sort spot felt completely better when I left and has been fine since. Jaimyn is also a personal trainer so we discussed some workout things while he was starting the massage and he also gave his opinion on Reiki and other things I asked about. It was definitely a great effective massage and I did not think it was too deep at all.
Even without a Groupon, I think their rates are pretty reasonable. I would definitely return here and I would recommend Jaimyn.

If I could have given no stars, I would have.
I booked a massage for Monday, Sept. 27 at 6:00 pm. I confirmed this with the receptionist and put it on my work calendar.
On Monday, I arrived at 5:50. The door was locked. Another woman had arrived as well for her appointment at 6:00. Both she and I called the phone number, and we were both told that a «Cynthia» would show up to open up the door. After calling back a second time when someone had not arrived by 6:15, I was also told that «Cynthia» would call me back. She never called me.
In addition, during the second phone call, it was discovered that although an appointment was noted for me in the system, I was never put on the calendar! I was told that Cynthia would call me about this.
Then, around 6:20, Tonya finally appeared to let us in. When I told Tonya what the receptionist had told me about my appointment, Tonya brought me to her computer and confirmed that I was in their system and booked for an appointment for September 27 at 6:00 pm. However, she saw that the appointment had not been put on the calendar and that the therapist with whom I had been booked, Stephanie, was a therapist who had not been with the company for a while!!! Tonya was very polite and apologetic, took my information IN A HANDWRITTEN NOTE TO MARIA, and gave me a business card for The Buckhead Massage Company with «Maria Ilieva» on it. She told me that Maria would call me the next day, Tuesday, September 28, and remedy the situation.
On Tuesday, September 28, Maria did not call me.
On Wednesday, September 29, I called at 8:50 am to talk to Maria. I was told that she was not there b/​c she did not get into the office until 10. I left a message and asked her to call me. At 11:00, after not hearing back, I called again to speak with Maria. I was told that she was «unavailable» so I asked to speak to someone else. The receptionist referred me to «Cynthia» and told me she would leave a message with Cynthia.
In addition to making me and another woman wait for 20 minutes for a 6pm massage, this company also failed to contact me after a mix-​up on their part. Now, after two phone calls to them, I get the distinct feeling that they’re giving me the run-​around. I do not appreciate this type of customer service, and I do not think that this is the type of business that Groupon should feature.
FYI, Tonya told me that the same thing had happened to another person on Monday (the mix-​up by My Receptionist, the reception company that Buckhead Massage Company uses). I saw the handwritten note that Tonya addressed to Maria containing this other person’s information and my information. Given that this was not an isolated problem, The Buckhead Massage Company should have taken care of this by now.
Bottom line Atlanta: STAY AWAY! Go someplace that actually cares about customer service. It’s worth the extra dollars. (and from some of the other reviews on here, the massages aren’t that great)

I received a massage from The Buckhead Massage company as a birthday gift. I did not know what to expect and before I went inside I actually was nervous about a «deep tissue» massage. This was my first real massage ever.
It is an office space converted into a quiet and simple relaxation space. It was wonderful! Relaxing, comfortable, and completely awesome. I was in a happy dizzy haze between dream land and complete exhilaration from feeling the knots slip out of my shoulders.
It is a hidden gem in the city. It feels like a secret club. You slip in through the back and go upstairs to a quiet little room for and awesome massage and slip back out to your car. I loved it! It is a secret club, for everyone who wants a great massage for a reasonable price…

I had my first massage at BMC today, and long story short: I’ll be back.
First thing you need to know: the entrance is in the back. The space is pretty small, but has a relaxed feeling and very peaceful. My masseur was friendly, eager to hear where I needed attention and what type of massage I was looking for. Admittedly, it was my first deep tissue experience but man… I feel about 100x better.
The only thing I would change is that it was like a sauna in there. Good lord… I think I lost a few pounds just sweating. Bikram massage?
Great price, nice staff, decent atmosphere, no pretension. What more do you want?

This is my favorite hidden gem of a massage spot. Sure, we can all go to Spa Sydell, but I kind of like the non-​hoopla, no pressure atmosphere of this tiny place hidden off of Piedmont Road.
I tend to hold all of my tension in my neck and upper back and I’ve been absolutely delighted with the four masseuses I’ve visited here. Once, I was so relaxed I nearly fell asleep — it doesn’t get much better than that! They offer 60– and 90-​minute sessions as well as gift certificates. Next time you need a hands-​on session that will leave you calm and rejuvenated, check them out.
