The Atlanta School of Burlesque

I absolutely love everything about the Atlanta School of Burlesque. I recently took a Mermaid Movement class (dance like a mermaid, but on the land not in the water) that was probably more advanced than I was ready for but was still tons of fun and a killer workout. While a little difficult to find, because my GPS was being a pain, once I got to the studio the registration process was fast. The facility is nice looking, the floor is great to dance on and there’s a clean bathroom, too. Ok, back to the important stuff! While this was my first time taking a class at the school, I have taken classes before from many of the amazing burlesque performers who now teach at the school. It’s exciting to have a place and a full schedule of classes so I can keep on learning the «art of the tease». I’m not a Skinny Minnie, but not once did I feel the uncomfortable stares or sideways glances I’ve felt in many other workout classes. Yes, workout classes, because believe me, being sexy is a workout! If you’re looking for a fun way to burn calories, be sure to check them out.
