Our doctors provide non-​surgical scoliosis treatment that integrates Schroth Method of specific scoliosis exercises with a unique dynamic tension brace called Spine Cor in a Corrective Movement based scoliosis therapy program. Not all exercises for scoliosis are the same. Some are better than others at treating scoliosis symptoms. Most physical therapy for scoliosis uses bilateral scoliosis exercise that can actually worsen your curvatures. Our scoliosis experts instruct patients in specific scoliosis exercise that works to unwind a crooked spine in the right direction to correct the causes of scoliosis. We treat both in adults and scoliosis in children. Using specific breathing exercises to treat thoracic scoliosis and postural re-​education exercises to treat lumbar scoliosis as well as kyphosis. History

Established in 1994.

Scoliosis Systems was founded by Dr. Gary Deutchman who began treating Scoliosis patients in his NYC office 14 years ago. In 2004 he partnered with Dr. Marc Lamantia whose expertise in neurologically based postural reeducation techniques to the program. They became Certified Spine Cor Providers and as their success with scoliosis grew they became the most experienced Spine Cor providers in the country. In addition, both doctors are Certified Schroth Method Instructors and teach their patients this important exercise program. Recently, they have expanded their Comprehensive scoliosis treatment program to include Atlas Orthogonal treatment at the Sweat Institute in Atlanta Georgia.

Business Owner

Dr. Gary Deutchman, D. C is a founding member of the Society of Spinal and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT), a research based International group of doctors and researches devoted to conservative management of spinal deformities. He is also a founder a non-​profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness of non-​surgical options called the Scoliosis Care Foundation. Dr. Deutchman is an adjunct faculty member at the New York Chiropractic College and Life College of Chiropractic West. He continues to be instrumental in developing non-​surgical adult Scoliosis protocols utilizing postural reeducation techniques and the Spine Cor brace. Recently he has also become a Certified Atlas Orthogonal provider and uses this treatment in scoliosis care. His ability to problem solve and unmatched experience with difficult cases, makes Dr. Deutchman one of the World’s experts in alternative Scoliosis treatment for children, adults and those with atypical neuro-​muscular scoliosis.
