Spectrum Advisory Services, Inc. is an independent private investment counsel firm in Atlanta, Georgia. It provides conservative portfolio management services to a select group of corporations, foundations, trusts, family limited partnerships, and high net worth individuals. Successor to a predecessor firm formed in 1977, the company has been guided for over 30 years by founder and president, Marc Heilweil. It has achieved long-​term results for clients using a disciplined, conservative value strategy. This strategy emphasizes basic investment value as a foundation, as well as protection against inflation through careful individualized portfolio management.

Marc Heilweil is President of Spectrum Advisory Services, an Atlanta based investment counseling firm whose clients include high net worth individuals and pension and profit sharing plans. Marc has over thirty years of experience in the investment industry. In addition to his responsibilities of overseeing Spectrum Advisory, he is the lead manager of the Marathon Value Portfolio. Mr. Heilweil received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Yale University in 1967. After graduation he spent a year in Bogota, Colombia as a Fulbright Scholar. He attended Yale Law School from 1971 – 1974 and graduated with a J.D. Degree in 1974. He worked in securities law with the law firm of Arnall, Golden & Gregory before starting his own investment management business in February 1977.

A successor firm, Spectrum Advisory Services, Inc. was founded in 1991. Mr. Heilweil took over as portfolio manager for Marathon Value Portfolio in March of 2000.
