History

Established in 1999.

Sollos Technology Solutions roots begin in 1996 as a group of Macintosh consultants specializing in the Graphic Arts. Since 1999, the company was rebranded with an expanded focus to general Macintosh support services for business customers. We spent years reseaching best in class hardware and software solutions for networking, VoIP, database, POS, DOOH, Email/​Calendaring/​Contact hosting, web design and hosting and more. We chose solutions that were Enterprise-​grade, relied when possible on Open Source technologies and were cost effective for businesses of all sizes.

Business Owner

David Shauger has been working in Macintosh networking since 1989 starting with LocalTalk networks and bringing new technologies to the Atlanta market such as the first drum scanners, first digital photo retouching workstations that work with Macintosh workflows, the first drum imagesetters, the first digital photo imagers and beta testing early publishing software such as Photoshop 1.0. In later years, he investigated the initial web Content Management Systems to determine best of breed for business clients and the best Open Source Voice over IP phone systems. More recently his focus has been on integrating all these together with Filemaker Pro databases connecting to MSSQL, MySQL and other database systems for mobile data apps deployed to iPad and iPhone.
