If you’re looking for a view and nothing much else, this is a great location to start your evening out. The staff is very pleasant and friendly, however don’t order a drink beyond the basics: beer, wine, rum and coke, etc. I ordered a Old Fashion and received something akin to a punch with a slice of orange in it. It tasted of mixer and whiskey, very off putting. But their beer selection is very nice with quite a few local options. None are on tap, unfortunately… but a good selection none the less. The wine selection is very limited(they offered 3 on the night I went). All in all, if you’re looking for a quiet night out with a lovely view OR a place to start your night out AND you’re in downtown Atlanta… you can’t go wrong with the Sky Lounge.

Awful, customer service sucks!!! Parking staff, sucks. If I could give this place a zero, I would. Clearly, the sign in front of the hotel says, parking for Glenn Hotel, Sky Lounge and blah blah blah. However, staff expressed that they we’re not allowing any other guest to park; unless you we were checking in. Mmmm, the Sky Lounge is inside the hotel. All the other parking lots we’re charging $ 25 to park for up to two hours, REALLY. I will never return! Service is mediocre and the drinks need work.

Was here last year, and ended up leaving because of the slow and unfriendly service. It hasn’t got any better since, sadly. I think the mistake is to host the hotel’s guests free«wine hour» mixed with paying customers — with the service looking at the paying customers and bluntly stating«but I am here for the hotel guests». Otherwise, not a luxurious spot, but a stunning view.

Yes, it hit the spot… Visually! Come in for the amazing skyline view and not the drinks. Highlights: The view is just spectacular. They are perfectly located so you can take in all the sites downtown Atlanta has to offer. Valet parking below which is a little pricey but saves you the hassle of finding a spot. Can improve: They drinks are well below average. Just get a beer and take in the view. Benchmark: As far as rooftop bars go in downtown ATL, they seem to be one of the few that provide such a great panoramic view. If you are looking for a spot to get great cocktails, then you should definitely reconsider and go somewhere else, anywhere else. Dropped by a few times since July 2015.

The views are fantastic. Everything else is mediocre. Staff was nice enough. Both times I’ve been, the live music has been very good. But the food/drinks aren’t anything to get excited over and overpriced for what you get. Good for tourists looking to get a great photo of the city, or a quick drink after work to unwind.

So it’s $ 10 to park, $ 5 per person cover charge only to go to a «rooftop» with subpar ambience and drinks. The waitresses aren’t the friendliest and the menu is oh so extensive *sarcasm* The view is nice when you get on the balcony and the guitarist is really good. Besides those two things everything else sucks including their nasty, unable-to-lock-the-door restroom. Not going back!

As many have said, the view was great, but we were charged a cover only to be offered mediocre drinks and laughable appetizers. The performer however was on fire!

Great live music and place to stop and let the traffic die down. Also at the top of an autograph hotel which is a major plus! Start or end your evening here with drinks and some snacks and you won’t be disappointed!

As many have said, the views here are what makes this place worth it. Everything else is mediocre or substandard. The servers are exceptionally awful — so aggressive. They don’t even smile! And what is it with wanting to take your credit card before you even finish thinking about what you’re ordering. This could be a lot better. Management meeds a visionary in its ranks to shake things up.

The view makes this bar worth visiting. The drinks are ok… nothing special, it’s best to just tell the bartender to whip you up something – food menu is just ok too. But once again it’s all about the view. I recommend getting there about 8ish .pay the $ 10 valet for three hours and you will have a good chance of finding a seat.

The view is great the service sucks! Waitress was rude and not accommodating. She served us a drink in a broken glass and was short and unfriendly. I wouldn’t recommend that place.

It’s actually 2.5 stars. The ride up to the sky lounge I imagined a nice & sexy roof top lounge, because roof top lounges are known to be nice & sexy. But…after getting off the elevator I felt as if I had somehow gone onto a neighbor’s patio. The furniture literally looked as if it came out of a Better Home & Garden magazine. Instead of some cool updated modern but sexy lounge furniture you got Aunt Debbie’s 2006 Top Pick for patio furniture. The furniture at least gave off the right type of ambience for the place. The view is nice. Anyone who is expecting something more than a nice view is in the wrong city. Before you get up to the sky lounge there’s a visible sign of what apparel is not accepted in the lounge. They are apparently very lenient regardless of what the sign says. Drinks. Mm. I had a cranberry & vodka as well as a shot of grand Marnier that my friend felt the need to order. They served the C&V in a 16 oz glass. I really tasted the cranberry. I didn’t like the Grand Marnier & prefer other cognacs but that has nothing to do with the lounge. Music was cool. View was nice. If you would like to enjoy someone’s company for a nice night cap this will provide you with the relaxed atmosphere you need.

The atmosphere is best thing about Sky Lounge, but can be loud. Service is not bad, but noisy. Food is pricy, portions were small. The view is also nice… Great location, poor service.

It’s a nice ace to take in the atlanta view and have a drink. Each year, they improve the bar… good live music and friendly staff. I’d come here again!

The aspect that makes Sky Lounge stands out from the rest is the customer service – the best and most genuine bartenders I have ever experience. And to top it off, Mike can really put together a performance, and importantly, resulting in a fine drink. The view was beautiful and the drinks reasonably priced.

Pretty lame. No draft. Poor service with 3 customers and six staff. No one offered a menu. Asked about a menu, said they had one but no one brought one. View is no different from my room. The other two people left. Just me and the staff and I’m still being ignored. Atlanta inhales sharply.

Beautiful views but overpriced drinks and snacks(no full menu). Also the service is very, very slow and made a lot of mistakes with the check. The check was 20% too high because the wines on the check were each priced $ 2 more than stated on the menu and the Twitter check-in discount of $ 5 was not deducted. Overall not a great experience. Only thing worth visiting is the view. And overhearing the conversation next to us between two locals they thought the same. Heared them mention that Atlanta has under 5 rooftop terraces so you have very limited choices and have to settle for high prices and poor service. And excuse any grammar and spelling mistakes. English is not my first language. And if that isn’t bad enough, my Apple device keeps changing words into ‘proper Dutch’. Yes, you’ve guessed right, my first language.

How do you waste a great view? This place appears to cater to an out to get drunk crowd. From the posted dress code at the elevator downstairs to servers who don’t know more about the wine than we have a Chardonnay and a Cabernet and a Pinot, it all screams a fold up table off the back of a pickup. They were serving off a limited menu of food selections from the Glenn Hotel and our sampler of deviled eggs, smoked trout spread, and pimento cheese was quite forgettable. The highlight was the smoked trout, but the deviled eggs were bland. The server assured me that the whiskey sour was good, but it ranked as a new low in terms of what I have experienced. I don’t remember the last time I was forced to endure a dry mix version of lemonade, but this was all I could picture when I tasted it. We quickly closed our tab and walked to White Oak nearby to experience a quality cocktail. I hope that the staff of Skylounge can arrange a group outing to experience what properly mixed drinks should taste like. Ray’s in the City, Legal Seafood, and White Oak Kitchen all mix better cocktails. Lastly, I find it telling that no one asked about our experience. I was ready to actually tell the manager what a wreck this place appeared to be on the Friday night when we visited, but no one took the time to ask. It’s jarring to see the attention to detail regarding décor, uniforms, and glassware displayed at quality dining destinations compared to this place. Maybe my expectations were far too high for what they are trying to be, but it fails miserably when located in a boutique-type hotel with an amazing view of the Atlanta skyline. Head for the Sundial if you need to see the city.

1) They have valet parking, but was filled when we arrived. Had to park across the street for $ 10. There is street parking around, but 1 block radius was filled. 2) Maybe 10 – 15 people in the entire place, might’ve been because it was drizzling outside. The crowd was a lot different than I was expecting, much older most over 35 – 40. 3) Old uncomfortable furniture and seating. 4) The beers were $ 5 – 6 and cocktails $ 10, but the bartender didn’t fill my beer up to the top and a friend said they didn’t enjoy their go-to cocktail. 5) Bathrooms atrocious, friend said not a single piece of paper in the women’s bathroom. 6) You get one of the best views of Atlanta from SkyLounge, but I don’t think it makes up for all the deficiencies. I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon.
