Business Owner
Samera Sheikh, M. A, LPC, graduated with honors from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Education. She has over 10 years of experience working with children and parents in individual and group counseling settings addressing issues such as bullying, grief and loss, divorce, abuse, social skills, anger management, self-esteem issues, and academic concerns. The focus of Samera’s practice is on promoting positive dynamics within relationships which can include individuals, couples, parents, and children. Her philosophy is that our past, present situations, and future aspirations strongly influence our interactions with our environment. As we evolve and confront challenges, it is crucial to recognize our past, adapt to our present surroundings, and modify our perceptions and behavior so we may reach our full potential.
