I was very pleased with the service I recieved at Atara. Everyone was kind, attentive, and professional. The atmosphere is clean, relaxing and happy. The owner Yvette not only educates her staff, but gave me useful info on what my hair needed to get and stay healthy. Her skills are excellent. I walked in looking a hot mess and left looking great and feeling fabulous!

Salon Atara is professional and extremely knowledgeable about all hair types. They are passionate about healthy hair. The staff makes sure you are happy, comfortable and satisfied. Not to mention, the owner makes sure the staff stays abreast and educated of all current and new hair techniques and products. This salon is a must try!

I highly recommend this Salon Atara! The services is awesome. They are very professional and personable. They listen to the client and offer great recommendations. My hair stylist is Latoya Cooper. I will give her 5 stars for all my appointments. She is really talented and knowledge in her service and talents!!!

This salon is close to my home and I thought this would be a great spot for a quick hairstyle. I made my appointment and arrived 10 minutes early to find another client sitting in the stylists’ chair, considering I was told they would be coming in on their day off to service my needs. I was surprised to see another client being served at my appointment time.
Thirty minutes later, the stylists walked away from the other client to ask if I had time to continue to wait. I said no. Needless to say, she decided to service me. She was rude, condescending and unprofessional. My hair was half done — braid crooked, not neat at all.
Afterwards, she had audacity to ask for a tip. I will not patronize this business again.
