These negative reviews are bogus and whiny. Here’s the real deal: I’ve been taking my clothes to Ritz every week for 21 years. I have never had a problem. That’s why I keep going back, and that’s why they have been in business for so long. Unlike other cleaners that send your clothes out to a huge factory in Atlanta, they do it on site, and same day if you request it before 9 am. I’ve had large items like rugs and bed spreads cleaned by them, I’ve had clothes altered, I’ve had shoes repaired. The staff is always courteous. What more could you ask for?

I will not be going back to this place. Their prices are way higher than other nearby cleaners. Add to that the fact he will not accept a check card, debit card, or a credit card for less than a $ 10 payment. However, here is my biggest problem with this guy. He will not give you a receipt for items you leave with him. Instead, he uses your telephone number. This is a problem in many ways. First, you have no proof of what you are leaving with him, much less that you ever left anything with him. Second, anyone can overhear or know your telephone number and steal your items. Third, if you leave an expensive item(s) with him, what proof do you have that these items were ever left? Fourth, suppose he damages an item? What documentation do you have that you left this item with him? Finally, I was comparing prices to have a large bed spread cleaned, and when I asked him why his price was higher than two other nearby cleaners, he told me I better take the spread to them, if they have a lower price. The guy is arrogant and rude. Avoid this business.

I won’t be going back. This is the second time that I’ve gotten clothes back that still look VERY dirty. The first time this happened it was a small but noticeable spot, right on the front and when I picked the item up and pointed it out, he was like«oh, do you want me to get that out?» uhhh, duh. So I had to make another trip back to get the dress. Then today, I pulled my work shirt out of the plastic, expecting a fresh shirt and there was still makeup(a noticeable amount) on the collar and creases across the middle as if it had been worn. So, I’m washing it and will have to iron it, but paid $ 5 to do it. I was forgiving the first time, but the amount of dirt that they missed this time definitely leads me to believe that they are not doing something right and certainly are not careful. I also believe their prices to be on the higher side. They get 2 stars because the do have good turnaround time, but I’d gladly wait a little longer for it to be done right.
