Rawnature Face & Body skin care and waxing boutique is located in the heart of Buckhead (Atlanta), GA. Whether you’re looking for a Brazilian Wax or a deep pore cleansing facial, you’ll receive personal one-​on-​one service by Owner/​Esthetician Tahnesha Wilson. Quality products are used to prep and protect your skin during your waxing service to prevent ingrowns and skin injuries. No «double dipping» here! Sanitary waxing practices are strictly enforced for your safety and peace of mind.

Hi, my name is Tahnesha. I’m an esthetician working in Atlanta (Buckhead), GA and this is my business, Rawnature Face & Body. I’ve been working full-​time as an esthetician for over six years now and so far, loving every minute of it. In a sense, I’m your skin’s personal therapist. I specialize in Brazilian waxing, brow design and custom skin care treatments. I even make my own line of body products.

After working in the mobile communications industry for several years, my company downsized and I found myself laid off. I was forced to make a choice. Should I get back into the corporate world, or pursue my dream of waxing Atlanta to glory in the spa and beauty industry? I decided to take a chance on my love for beauty services and put my skin care certification to use.

I have been waxing for years, and for the last 5 years I have been going to the same waxing salon to get it done. Then I moved to Atlanta from California and felt so lost haha. I read the great reviews on Tahnesha and decided to give Rawnature Face & Body a try. Tahnesha is truly great at what she does; she puts you right at ease, she is knowledgeable, and gentle. I will say I think it is the best Brazilian wax I have ever had. She uses top of the line waxes and the right techniques to ensure everything is sanitary and safe. Not to mention she is so sweet herself. I also love that I can use the online booking system to choose a time that works best for me, and I have always been able to get in, even when I decide last minute to go.

I don’t trust anyone else with my brows; Tahnesha always does a detailed and all-​around fantastic job. She helped correct a prior waxing mishap when I did venture to another aesthetician, correcting my shape and using the correct tint color. Every visit is pleasant and I leave feeling more put together.

I found this salon through Buckhead. It had great reviews, so I figured I’d try it out. The place and the esthetician were very nice.
I’ve been doing my own eyebrows for about a year to give them a break from a history of overly enthusiastic eyebrow waxes, threading, etc. I wanted to go to someone to shape my eyebrows while keeping what I had been able to grow out so they wouldn’t be too skinny. But, it didn’t seem like she thought about shaping the brows and just did a typical eyebrow wax. Unfortunately, here I am again with two skinny eyebrows. I think this place would be great for someone who already had their eyebrow shape down or had thicker eyebrows and so more to work with, but I was disappointed with the result.

Tahnesha is awesome. I have been to several places for bikini wax and have had everything from okay to meh to horrible experiences. I researched Unilocal for places near me that other people have had at least a good experience. This is the only place where five stars is given every time and now I understand why. I took back roads from Smyrna to Buckhead so it took me no time at all and it was easy to find. Clean, nice, sterile. Tahnesha is very personable and while, at first, I was nervous I was comfortable in no time. I will definitely be going back on a more regular basis because she is awesome.

I can’t give Tahnesha anything less than 5 stars. She is good at what she does. I have been trying out different waxing salons around Atlanta for a while, I saw the great reviews for Rawnature Face & Body, and had to give her a go.
The salon is located in Buckhead. It was pretty easy to get there. The only tricky part was the location in the Cates complex. If you are facing the front, it’s on the left (2nd floor) even though the numbering would have you think otherwise. She promptly called me back when I was lost. She shares an office with multiple rooms with another business. When I arrived, the gentleman that runs the other business handed me a water and was very courteous as I waited for Tahnesha to arrive (Im chronically SUPER early to places). When she arrived she was ready to roll.
The waxing room is very tidy and has nice, gentle lighting. Tahnesha made me feel at home right from the start, and asked if I had ever had a brazilian before, and I’m if I hadn’t she would have walked me through the process. She was very personable and we had a great conversation while I was being waxed. The best part was when I checked out she wasn’t trying to push products on me, but was happy to explain some products I did have questions about.
She alternated between using hard wax and strip wax depending on the «zone» she was waxing at the time. She even explained why she uses them for different areas and we talked about how if someone preferred to only use hard wax or only strip wax she would totally wax to the customers preference (mainly because we were talking about salons we have been to that won’t). The hard wax is really nifty and stays pliable unlike the blue hard wax you see at most salons.
Being a redhead, I usually walk around from a brazilian wax with very red angry skin (its just really sensitive), but this time it’s barely irritated. ITS AMAZING! If you’re looking for a new esthetician, i would DEFINITELY check out Tahnesha’s business. She even told me to check-​in on Unilocal (since I said I found her on Unilocal) so that I would save $ 5 on today’s visit. You can’t ask for better service, professionalism, or hospitality. She’s my go to lady now!

I found Tahnesha though Unilocal and I have to say I was not let down. I was able to make a quick same day appointment for a facial. She was wonderful, very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk to. I’m really excited to have found a place that I can go to on a regular basis to have my skincare needs addressed. I will definitely be recommending her to my friends. Can’t wait to go back.

I started going to Tahnesha 4 months ago after a 2.5 year exhaustive search for an esthetician. She is AMAZING! She has an extensive knowledge of skin care and has been instrumental in pairing down my mini in home Sephora. I’ve discovered that beautiful skin does not take purchasing the latest and greatest from INSTYLE magazine, it just means choosing the right product for MY skin type. I leave every facial appointment feeling like a new woman. My skin is now perfection. I’m so happy with how beautiful it looks and feels after a treatment.
Like the other reviews, she is also a waxing queen. After years of eyebrow threading, I switched back to waxing when I saw the tenacity Tahnesha put into my brows. She has essentially become my go to for any and all things beauty. She is knowledgable, professional and a blast to chat with!

Finally I have found a place that is the least painful and the most comfortable. Tahnesha really knows her stuff! I started off just getting waxed there. Because of the awesome service I got from my waxing experience, I decided to try a facial. I had been having annoying breakouts on my chin for months. Tahnesha have me a wonderful facial and recommended adding some omega 3 fish oil supplement (as well as drinking lots of water) to my routine. It’s been 1week and my chin is looking awesome! She now has a new skin care devotee in me!

Brilliant. One of the most difficult things to find when you move to a new city is a lady-​scaper and Tahnesha is amazing! I have been here twice for a leg/​underarm wax. Tanesha has a relaxing vibe (I think she would be a great massage therapist) making the experience far more soothing than the average wax. And it is very easy to book online.

I rarely write reviews but I had to for Rawnature. After reading almost 50 reviews looking for a place to get a bikini wax, I finally decided on Rawnature. This was my first ever bikini wax and Tanesha was amazing! She made me feel comfortable and talked to me through the whole thing. She took her time and everything was so clean! I’ve already booked my next appointment. It is a bit pricey, but totally worth it in my opinion.
Also, on a different note, I absolutely LOVE the peacock painting in the back room!

Tanesha is great! You can make an appointment online same day, or as far out as you want. She is super thorough and her work lasts for a really long time. She will tell you herself that she is a bit slow, but I promise you, this was the least painful wax I have ever gotten – so you really don’t mind that you are sitting there for an extra 10 minutes, when it’s not painful and the results last about a week longer. She’s also super sweet, and makes you feel like you are grabbing lunch with a girlfriend… instead of… ahem.

The only place in Atlanta I have yet to find that carries Caron wax from Australia which literally makes the Brazilian irritant and pain free. I was introduced to this in Australia and now I can’t do it any other way. No residue or stickiness and very moisturizing after. Tahnesha takes her time to makes sure she can give you the best job. I will definitely return next time I’m in town.

She is even willing to accommodate me if I need an early appointment before the place opens. She is just amazing!
Love how clean the place is. Appointments are easy to schedule online too. There is nothing I dislike about here. Will definitely return :)
