Quality Suites Buckhead Village

Wow! This hotel is Grrreat! We (my bf and I) went here this past weekend (11−28−15) to celebrate my bday. I had read reviews on here and Unilocal and they were a bit mixed, so I decided to give it a try anyway b/​c I had passed by this hotel before and wanted to stay. Well my review/​opinion of this particular Quality Suites Hotel is probably and «odd one out» type of review. We LOVED it, and actually we’re going to cancel our reservation at another hotel for New Year’s Eve and book this hotel again.
When we walked in the lobby we automatically noticed the fresh, clean smell! It was very clean and nicely decorated w/​a Christmas tree in the corner! The front desk clerk, Carlos, was not welcoming but not rude either. He seemed like he was very business oriented, no small talk, firm but not aggressive… I’ll take it. My suggestion to Carlos if he reads this: Smile! Anyway, on to the room…
First off, let me say that this hotel seemed not like a hotel at all but an apartment complex! The room seemed as if it might have been a studio apartment before. It was very spacious and had all the amenities that you might see in that type of apartment which we really liked! The room was SPOTLESS! No complaints about cleanliness at all! Actually we have not complaints about this hotel! The only thing that we might have wanted was an elevator, which this hotel doesn’t have, but hey, it want deter us from coming back!
They breakfast was good. Your «typical» hotel continental breakfast: eggs, sausage, bagels, pancakes, eggs, toast… etc. The eating area was spacious and not crammed like I’ve experienced at some other hotels.
Checkout was easy-​peasy! In contrast to Carlos, Noelle, the front-​desk clerk at check-​out was very welcoming and pleasant… she did smile! Thanks Noelle!
Needless to say, we will be back! Highly recommended hotel! Keep up the good work, Quality Suites, you have my vote!

This is not the nicest hotel I’ve ever staid at, but they did provide the nicest room I’ve ever staid in. I reserved a room here because it is within walking distance of the concert I came to Atlanta to see. I checked in late (8pm-​ish) and, because they’d sold all their cheapo rooms to walk-​ins, they gave me a free upgrade to a two bedroom/​two bathroom suite with a kitchen nicer than the one in my apartment back home. The place was clean and quiet with fast wifi (password on your room key sleeve); and, in the AM, they served a free hot breakfast that included Starbucks.
I recommend this place for its proximity (less than ½ mile) to a nice downtown scene with restaurants, bars and shopping.

We enjoyed our week-​long stay at this hotel very much. The room was spacious and a very good value. We appreciated the large closet, comfortable bed and spacious living area. The kitchen could’ve been a little more stocked with basic items (such as coffee mugs, real plates & bowls, and cutlery) but we sufficed with the supplies we picked up at the breakfast. Breakfast was just okay, but it was convenient and free so I could live with it. The laundry facilities were clean and in good working order; ditto for the fitness room. The bathroom was a little small (particularly the tiny room with the tub and toilet), but it was clean and the showerhead gave a powerful stream of water so I really can’t complain. The area surrounding the pool was blocked off so we had to take the long way around to get the the main building; this was fine as it wasn’t that many more steps and the sidewalk was level and maintained well. When we come back to town to visit, we will absolutely consider staying here again!

This hotel served its purpose. It was clean and it comfortably slept our party of 7. The showerhead in Suite A (the room with the queen bed) felt great! I didn’t eat the breakfast but the kids did and from what I’m told, it looked better than it tasted.
The latch on our door was broken off… don’t know how that happened. The bed and pillows were super soft and I suppose would be comfortable if I didn’t prefer a super firm mattress and pillows. I could also feel every time my husband shifted in the bed… I did not appreciate that.
Overall, for $ 150 a night for sleeping 7 (8 can be accommodated), it was a pretty good find. We would stay here again but there was nothing special about it. No issues with customer service, even with a hiccup regarding my credit card being declined initially. Check your email in the days leading up to your stay because they may not call to ask for a different card, they notify you by email that your reservation is cancelled.

I was smart about this place! Called ahead and made sure I had a first floor suite, which they obliged me with. The suite was clean and comfortable, with plenty of closet space. The gem of this stay is the free hot breakfast, which is so good you forget you’re in a hotel great room/​lobby.
The drawbacks are they don’t give you enough towels (just two)– had to ask for more!

I reserved a room online using the choice hotels application at this facility thinking that it would be a nice facility at the beginning of August one the four neighborhood of awards, I called in advance explain to them that I would need a room on the first floor due to the fact that I was handicap in my mother’s handicap is well and I just do that I would be charged the night before even though we were coming in until the morning and they stated that they would hold room to accommodate me. When I first arrived to check into the room you walk into the main lobby area and the smell was Horrible they were mopping the floor what obviously was a dirty smelly mop and it had the whole dining room area smelling like musty balls. When I arrived arrived to room that had moved throughout the room mold in the dishwasher mold on the bathroom walls missing knobs to the stove and an over all nasty experience. I immediately checked out 30 minutes after checking in I will say that they tried to offer me a room on the second floor but like I stated I was handicap and cannot access the second floor adequately so they’re offering of a different room on the second floor meant nothing if you have no access to it and the elevators are broken. The management at this facility is lackluster on accommodating to handicap people and refused to return my money back for this piss poor experience. For this place to be in such of school area and touting such upscale experience it was the worst experience I’ve ever had ever at all choice hotel I would’ve rather stayed in at Enco Lodge. They left me an my handicapped mom high and dry after driving 12 hours to get there. Poor service

Well, the room was always to hot no matter how much I turned down the AC. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work. Our light by our bed was broken. There was a giant cockroach running around my floor when I was WOKEN UP this morning by front desk because I parked in a place where apparently a construction truck had to be. Even though there was no way of showing that last night when we parked. I had to wake my newborn up to move my car, or else it was going to be towed according to front desk. (Again a completely unmarked, legal parking spot.) Breakfast wasn’t that good. Had to walk far to my hotel room no matter what, with a newborn and luggage and groceries etc. No elevator to get to breakfast. Microwave and oven were extremely old. No pool or hot tub because of construction. Heard a front desk person yelled at a man for asking for quarters for the washing machine. Oh and in about the matter of 15 minutes another car has taken my spot that I was forced to Move from. The front desk lady was nice enough eventually but that’s about all I can say good about this place.

I loved the stay here. The rooms were very roomy and super clean. It was actually better than I thought. I had no clue that my room had a full kitchen. The front desk attendant, Lee, was Super Nice. My first stay there and I loved it. My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights there and had no complaints. Breakfast was also good. It’s a great location in a great neighborhood. I will most definitely stay there again.

Saw this room online and knew I couldn’t beat the price for the Buckhead area. I was a little disappointed to see it being revamped upon arrival but it didn’t affect our stay. The pool was closed the first two days which disappointed the kids but it opened on schedule just as the front desk had told us. My room had some ruff patches on the wall that could have been squared away a little better, overall a clean suite though. Free breakfast was better than expected to make up for the disappointing fitness equipment.
I would stay again and recommend to others.

This was formally the Holiday Inn Express and they are still doing some remodeling and I like what I see and they still have a fair breakfast here.2 bedroom suites with 2 full bathrooms sofa bed and a TV in each bedroom and living room. Great service when checking in, less than 45 seconds.

So dissappointed. Wanted to use my Choice Privileges points here. Got to the room and it smelled old and stale. The lobby looks beautiful but my suite needed several upgrades. Not worth the points, so after hotel staff told me I had forfeited my points, I went back and forth with Choice Hotels and they were able to get my points back. Not very upscale considering the neighborhood; it’s close to Lenox Square Mall.

Well, it seemed to be in a decent neighborhood? But, a crazy all night party that included most of the guest our first night, dried blood on the sidewalk outside our room, a purse snatcher during breakfast… maybe they should invest in security? Even though there were three of us in the room, they only gave us two towels, breakfast IS included, but inedible, no ice machines and rooms are pretty run down. Looking back on it, should have spent the extra for a nicer place. Oh well.

Pros: excellent location, lots of space, acceptable amenities, excellent price.
Cons: older location and lots of minor problems: flakey wifi, broken light, messed up shower head, etc. They fixed the maintenance problems and were very helpful, but it is what it is. Ive stayed here for a number of years over new yeaes and am always very happy with what i get given what i pay.

This place is totally amazing. What a deal. The rooms are quiet, clean, and HUGE! I took advantage of the complimentary shuttle and went to the mall, and dinner. Very exciting neighborhood, walking distance to many good bars. Played tennis at the gigantic park next door. The breakfast saved me money. Good high pressure shower.

This place is a cheap stay for Buckhead. The beds are nice, the two bedroom suites are room, but the cabinets and entire outside of the building is outdated. It’s a motel with doors on the outside of the building.
It is located on Pharr Road and is only a short walk/​drive to a lot of bars, Lenox Mall, and nice restaurants.
I’d probably stay here again if I needed a cheap place.
The staff are all nice and let us have an extra hour to checkout.

Stay here after the planned renovations. It is a good deal, but the furniture is old and dated. The carpet is stained and the fixtures are in disrepair. I think the management/​ownership is waiting on the planned remodeling to do anything. And 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with a sleeper sofa means that you could sleep 6 for less than $ 20 apiece per night. And there is a full kitchen (stove, oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher).
That said, the location is not far around the corner from the Intercontinental and less than a mile from the Ritz Carlton. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby (and a Waffle House, if you need it). The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. One day this will be a nice place. Book it after the renovations.
