I’m moving to Atlanta from Florida, and Promove was recommended to me by a few people I know. Ask for Thomas! He was so helpful in making my decision and getting the best rate possible. He gave me a great idea of the area of the apartment I chose, and how far it is to get to any destination I had in mind. A few years ago, I would have given this place a bad review. However, after talking to Brad, my confidence in this company is completely restored!
Let’s face it, finding a new place to live could be scary. I was hesitant to call because the process of looking for a new place could be so overwhelming. I want to live in a nice neighborhood for a reasonable price. Most people have told me I’m crazy for expecting to find that. Talking to Brad made me feel right at ease. He was genuinely empathetic to my situation as he allowed me to voice my concerns. Now, I’m ACTUALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SEARCH!

This service is incredible. Heard great things from a few friends and thought I’d give it a shot since its: A. free and B. I needed to find an apartment w/​serious urgency. I gave them all of my «filters» and I received immediate and top notch choices with deals and information I couldn’t find anywhere else. They even set up the appointments for me.

I called Promove (Buckhead) Monday 9÷21÷15 around 2pm. The experience wasn’t good. The man I spoke with was okay until I gave him my price range. $ 600 — $ 700 for a (1) bedroom apartment. He became abrupt and rude. He said for that price range I’m going to live hours outside of Atlanta or I can rent a room somewhere and Promove will not be able to assist me.(His exact words). I called Wednesday 9÷23÷15 to report my experience to a supervisor. I spoke to a woman she «seemed» genuinely concerned and said she would report this to the manager/​supervisor and have him contact me. I was never contacted. I lived in Dunwoody for (5) years paying this price range so, what he said is completely false.

I was moving from New Jersey to ATL and started searching for brokers to assist in finding an apartment and I found Promove.
I talked to Marcus from Promove and quickly he sent a lot of options within my specific search.
I can only recommend Promove as I got a great experience and is today sitting in one of the apartments that Marcus sent my way

I had a great experience with promove. We worked with both Anthony and Thomas and both were very helpful. They gave great advice on what to look for in general, gave specific advice about areas, and were very honest about different complexes and the process in general. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone looking for an apartment. They make the whole process considerably less overwhelming.

Promove is pretty awesome. I contacted them to help me with my apt search. Austin helped me and he was great. I explained to him I was trying to move very quickly and because of work and a recent two week vacation I didn’t have time to come into the office. I told him the area and what I was looking for. He sent me an email with several options. After I looked at all of them he followed up with me and added extra notes to the properties I was interested in. I went by and viewed a few of the properties. I found one that was perfect. They had immediate availability – something I stressed in my search and I was able to move in that Monday. This service is free and it’s very helpful, especially when your time is limited. I recommend them to anyone apt searching. Thx Again!

I love Promove! It helped me move not once but twice. It’s an awesome free service and the people there are always willing to help. We were serviced by Kenny and he was great! Helped me fine exact what i needed budget/​location wise! I highly recommend this service!

If you use this location use Kenny B. Not only is he personable but he is knowledgeable. He will find you what you need and do it all with his amazing smile and sense of humor. (Yes ladies he is hot, but I don’t know if he is single.) Sorry, sidenote but anyway back to the review… he really knows his stuff and is not afraid to set realistic expectations for you based on your budget. He won’t send you off looking at stuff you can’t afford or doesn’t meet your needs.

I had an AMAZING experience with Promove. I’m a new Atlanta resident coming from Los Angeles, CA for my career and I was completely clueless on where to start with my apartment search. A handful of friends referred me to Promove (a completely FREE! service) and the rest was history.
I was contacted by a young woman named Alison Jones out of the Buckhead office and she was SUCH a pleasure to work with. She worked with me from the time I was in LA, to a meeting she scheduled during my Atlanta visit and even checked up with me when I got back to the west coast. She was very instrumental in helping my decision based upon the apartments I had seen during my visit.
She asked some basic questions during the meeting about which area I’d like to live in and offered pros and cons for each area. She inquired about any particular amenities I’d like in an apartment and used this information to create a list of places I should visit that met the criteria we had discussed. Alison proceeded to print up these big reference cards that had any pertinent information I’d need to know at a glance about the properties and marked which ones were her personal favorites, which was awesome.
I spent the next day scouting places and all of the properties I was referred to were awesome with friendly and helpful staff. I ended up going with one of the properties she personally recommended and couldn’t be happier! I move in next month.
I completely recommend Promove if you’re looking to make a move in the Atlanta area. They take a lot of the legwork out of the equation for you and give you an EXCELLENT jumping off point. I highly recommend you stop by the Buckhead office and request Ms. Alison Jones. She was amazing!

They really helped us jump-​start our apartment search! We ended up buying a house, so we didn’t get to go through the whole process, but I need to give them a stellar review for stellar service.
This service is free to apartment hunters, because they get paid on commission from whatever apartment you choose that they helped you find.
We met with a consultant, who had a giant map of the Atlanta metro area on his wall, and we narrowed down our options based off of what we wanted to be near to, which he drew on the map with a dry erase marker. We found this to be a very useful step for visualization, especially for me, since at that time I was still learning my way around (who am I kidding, I still am, but I know more than I did then).
They have a big database full of good apartments that have to meet their standards, and our consultant gave us tips on which apartments were really the best. Then they printed out details of the ones we were most interested in, and they were our liaison between us and the apartment complexes as we scheduled visit dates.
I’d recommend them to anyone that’s apartment hunting in this big, sprawling city of ours. They were helpful, encouraging, and made us feel a lot less alone in the apartment hunting game.

David from Promove help us get off to a great start, even from across the country. My one complaint is that the «results» link they send you to review itself doesn’t have the ability for you as a user to go in and modify your own search terms should your specifics change. In our case, where we had much flexibility but wanted to find the «best match», it would’ve been nice to be able to manipulate those search query items on our own. But great customer service, got us pointed in the right direction!
And I agree with a previous poster, adding Unilocal reviews to each property would’ve saved me some extra digging time :) Thanks Promove!

Guess I got the short end of the stick because my experience wasn’t nearly as good as the other reviewers. I called, made an appointment. I was told they would have everything ready to review when I came in for my appointment. However, nothing was prepared and all he did was search on the computer when I came in. I didn’t see anything or learn anything that I didn’t already know. I actually found more results through standard internet searching than they did. All in all, waste of time, I had high hopes, but was let down.

I had a great experience with Promove. Michael Heyer was awesome.
I submitted an inquiry online and he worked with me via phone and email to find properties that fit my requirements. I really appreciated this because it saved me time. He followed up with me often (even when I pushed my move date back).
Michael’s customer service is amazing! I probably was not the easiest person to help with my crazy schedule and indecisiveness, but he made it work. I am happily living in a apartment complex he found for me!

I have to be honest, I was slightly disappointed with the person that was assigned to me over the web. Mainly, because we were sooooo happy in our prior location (12years) which we found using Promove. Didn’t even give it a second thought. So when I wasn’t getting the attention I felt I deserved, I walked into the Buckhead location and was met by Thomas… I hadn’t even finished my coffee and Thomas felt like he was on his third double espresso!
You can just tell when people love what they do, it really shows through in their work. I even joked about steeling him away from there to work for me one day!

I was in the process of moving from San Diego to Atlanta and I only had one weekend to find an apartment. I found Promove on the internet and thought it was a little weird that it was an in-​person service, but decided to give it a try.
My representative was Aaron. He was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the apartment market. Since my boyfriend and I are new to Georgia, Aaron even gave us restaurant and bar recommendations. The service was personal and very easy.
We narrowed our search down to around 10 apartment complexes and Aaron advised us on the fastest route to each. We were able to travel to all of them and signed a lease that day.
The service is free and we definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without Aaron and Promove. I would highly recommend this service to anyone moving!

This is my second time using Pro-​Move, and I must say this is a situation in which you must «Eat the fish and spit out the bones.»
Daniel Cox was my agent this go-​round, and Tommy was the first. I told Daniel I wanted a two bed-​room townhouse equidistant from my job and my partner’s job, with W/​D connections, pet-​friendly, and under $ 850. I actually thought my expectations were unrealistic, BUT he managed to muster up a list.
I’ve always been really anal in the rental hunting process, so I’ll say that Pro-​Move is an excellent STARTING point. Apparently these folks don’t do their research on the rental properties, so you should take the portfolio they give you and Google the reviews! A great bit of the photos/​info about the properties are outdated, which will get you in quite the pickle if you are not careful. Some places have pest problem, issues with burglaries, shady staff, or are plain-​out old and not worth the money. I used Daniel’s list as a starting point. I looked at his suggestions, read reviews, then selected favorites to visit.
Again, ProMove is a good place to start — you just need to do more digging on your own.
