From merchant services and human resources to finance and mortgage operations, Layne Gerstel has built a dynamic career that spans numerous industries and successful entrepreneurial endeavors. Layne Gerstel graduated from Florida State University in 1996. His degree helped provide Layne Gerstel with the skills and experience he needed to jump directly into the financial services industry, where he began working with Olde Discount Stockbrokers and eventually transitioned into roles with Merrill Lynch and First Union. Layne Gerstel currently serves as Managing Partner in the Atlanta-​based merchant services firm Priority Payment Systems South East. Priority provides a wide range of services, including Retail Credit Card Processing, E-​Commerce Processing with Internet Gateways & Virtual Terminals, and POS Software, all tailored to specific merchant needs.
