So I’m waiting to be seated at DESTA which I’m told is an hour wait, I’m hungry A.F. if you don’t know what a.f. stands for please consult with your minority amigo or co-worker and they will explain. But I digress, it’s an hour wait at DESTA and the kids aren’t going to wait an hour! So we come next door to Popeyes to get them something to tide them over. Go through the drive thru… smh I hear the cashier on the intercom announcing to the car in front of us what they don’t have. Excuse me? It’s Saturday night at 830pm and you are running out of shit?! Already annoyed with hunANGRY children nipping at me; we order the 3 piece chicken tender box with fries. Guess what the cashier rushingly says to us? DEREIZAWAITONDAHTENDAHS. 0_o really you don’t day and I wondah why dat iz? sarcasm **rolling my eyes so far back in head I’m reading my own thoughts!** we say ok fine. We pull around she gives me disappointment to my hunger, to all of our hunger, we peer inside with our hunANGRY eyes and see THEREISNOONEINSIDEWAITINGFORANYTHING!!! Gaaaaaaaaawd are you serious? But I do see boomquisha, kitta, and dem standing around barely doing anything *_* wait man it gets good… our cashier who rushed us to take our order tells us she will bring the order outside when it’s ready. We wait damn near 15 minutes. She comes outside and is pleasant which us suprising but she forgets the drink and the spoon. I’m giving 1 star because she apologized for forgetting. The fries were Luke warm but the chicken tenders were piping hot, can’t win em all I guess **shrugs** will I come back? Only if I’m in the area and in desperate situation like I was tonight. What’s sad is I’ve been to this location many times before I wrote this review and when it was **coughs** Caucasian management and Gay management this restaurant was ran with an iron fist, what’s wild is their is no «hood» even close to this area so they must travel far to get work, that earns the 2nd star. Popeyes you can’t rely on your chicken to keep bringing customers back, customer service, and expediency is just as important.

I have to say that the food was really good so I’m giving the two stars for the poor customer service. I was split between the 8 piece family meal and the 12 piece. Just after paying for the 8 piece meal I turned around from the counter and saw an ad for a 10 piece meal, exactly what I wanted. The employee didn’t think to mention it and even the manager did not have the authority to accommodate my request for the 10 piece order.

OMG absolutely the WORST fast food experience you could possibly imagine. I live nearby and keep giving this place a second and third and fourth chance and without fail I always get told to park and wait forever and extremely poor attitude from the staff and management. Just simply the WORST. The owners should be ashamed of themselves.

I went through the drive-thru. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered the shrimp and hush puppies. When I got home — shrimp was in the box, but no hush puppies, which I was looking forward to. The shrimp was good, as was the side of red beans and rice. Always check your box/bag before leaving the drive-thru.

This place is the worst the women here are never pleasant they act like they don’t want to work. Was Toledo would have to wait 12 minutes for chicken. 25 minutes later I went in and everyone was chilling while my food was just sitting there. After all of that they didn’t put my biscuits in the bag

Best Popeyes I had thus far!!! The return of the Hushpuppy Butterfly Shrimp is back! I tried it for the first time ever and it was amazing! I ordered the combo for $ 6.99 fries as my side and it included a buttermilk biscuit with a Hi-C as my drink choice. I came around 11:30am. So I beat the lunch crowd, but they know how to keep dropping fresh food in preparation for the lunch rush.

a FAIL for customer service! I got the wrong order at the drive thru window and have been trying to phone them ever since I got home. Unbelievably the the phone goes straight to an unmonitored mailbox and no one ever calls me back. I tried the«contact us»” number on the receipt and it sends me to another telephone number! too much time wasted already and I still haven’t reached a live person. I suppose it’s easy to say«we never get complaints» if you make it impossible for customers to reach you!

Picked up a 10 piece mixed a couple weekends ago for the bowl games, and when I got home FIVE of the ten pieces were skimpy little amputated T-rex wings. Not cool.

When it’s good, it’s decent. This is less than 20% of the time. Really inconsistent. They(Popeyes, but especially this location) has to have the worst customer service. They need to take a lesson from the folks at Chick-Fil-A. The staff has a turn-over every 2 – 3 months. Why does it suck yet I know this so well? I have small kids. I believe that you should not in good conscience give your good money to bad business. This location is a bad business. Thumbs down.

I ordered a biscuit. It was dry with solidified trans fat in the center. Yuck! Really too, too much shortening, and the worst kind. I had a biscuit at the Popeye’s at the Atlanta airport. It was exceptionally good. I don’t think it means that Popeyes is a good place — may have been a one-time thing.

Food was typical. Customer service at drive thru was bad. I tried everything I could to get them to smile. No luck.

Great spicy chicken! Get the 2 piece combo with a breast and a thigh. Mashed potatos are key with the gravy. Love the Cajun music they play!

I will be the first to leave a bad review for this location, they deserve one. Yeh the food is «cheap», whatever. If you’ve read the other reviews, you’ll see one or two about them running out of chicken. I live literally right down the street from this Popeyes, and I go there all the time. They are always out of chicken, ALWAYS. They always have a super long wait time if the chicken is not ready as well. The chicken is usually always spot on and good though, when you get it hot. It is usually hot. The strips are to-die-for good, let alone, their entire menu is. The big issue with them in food has to be their biscuits. They are literally never cooked perfectly. They are always salty and ALWAYS under baked. I can’t enjoy my biscuit and they tend to mess up the meal as well if they are busy. HEREISMYBIGGESTISSUEWITHTHEM. IM A FANATICABOUTCUSTOMERSERVICE. Their customer service gets a –10 on a scale of 0 to 10. I hope that describes how awful their service is. They have no diversity in the kitchen, it is all the same race. The people working their are the definition of Ignorant and they don’t listen to anything you say(just like McDonald’s). They always try to rush the order and never let you speak. The one thing you will NEVER hear from them is «Please», «Thank You», or «You’re welcome». To test that, I repeatedly thank them in one visit(I’ve done it on several visits) and they never say a thing back. It’s just so funny how rude they are! The manager is awful too, I had to call the corporate on her because she messed up my meal and when I complained to her. She blamed it on me. Hey, I guess that’s why they are working in fast food… Shows their intelligence.

Food here is good, and service is prompt. Never had a bad meal. Staff, though it lacks ethnic diversity, is effective albeit a little rough around the edges.

Rude. I decided to eat here because is fast so at the drive-thru the lady didn’t even let me finish giving her my order. She gave me an attitude and they spit on my food. That is just disgusting. This place sucks. Popeyes needs to do something about this. Also I order those peach pies, I got peach pie with paper. That was annoying. Never coming back to this place!!!

Actually the best Popeyes in Atlanta besides the service. All Popeyes employes including management is crappy all across the map in this city. Popeyes u need to revamp your goals which includes the customer.

Their red beans and rice is perfection. However, the chicken at this establishment isn’t consistent. Sometimes it comes out super spicy and crispy, other times it was«just okay.» I can make biscuits with probably an 1⁄8th of the shortening that Popeyes uses, so that won’t bring me back either. If I’m going to be indulging in fast-food fried chicken, I prefer Church’s. Service is spotty, too. Once they didn’t even tell us about their special they were offering, which would have actually knocked off a few dollars off our bill. Another time, they completely left out the biscuits. We called them when we realized this at home, and they asked us to come back when we could with our receipt. They actually remade our entire meal for free(we had Popeyes twice that week, and I gained about 3lbs) — TOTALLY unnecessary but pretty awesome customer service. Inconsistency with their chicken will not have me back, though.

Hot, fresh and tasty! I like my chicken with a zing. It’s not burn your tongue spicy, it’s just more flavor than bland breading. I actually add some of that Louisiana hot sauce for more heat. Pair this with the red beans and rice for a more cajun meal, instead of fries or mashed potatoes. Service was prompt and the food was fresh. What more does one need?

Four stars for fast food? Well… yes. Popeye’s spicy fried chicken breasts are like crack. I stop by this one as least once a week for a breast, wing, taters with gravy, and slaw. A lovely thing.

My favorite fast food chicken joint. I have been visiting this location for years. I always order their chicken spicy, red beans and rice, and their sweet tea. I haven’t tried anything else on their menu. They never disappoint me. The chicken is crispy and hot when I get it. The chicken is NEVER dry. The sweet tea is the kind of sweet I like. Just like southern sweet tea. The only okay item that they have are the biscuits. I like Church’s biscuits way better. I have yet tried their Thanksgiving turkey, but I am hoping to later this year. This location has not gotten the new Coca-Cola machines where you can combine and mix sodas. The staff here is also very funny and nice. I haven’t tried their cheesecake here, but I have friends who are big fans of it. Overall, I will continue eating their chicken.

This is where the office staff got our Thanksgiving Turkey. One thing about Popeye, you gotta love this chicken. and the Thanksgiving turkey’s aren’t bad either. We paid $ 40 for an entire 10lb smoked turkey and I used the left over parts for turkey chili, and it was delicious also. The staff was super friendly, even after I got there and mentioned that I needed a pan of mashed potato and gravy also. This was the way to go for an office Thanksgiving feast. Somehow this post is just coming up in my «complete you post» link reasoning this posting is so late. I

As far as fast food goes this place is super yummy. I like the spicy chicken meal. The biscuits dipped in the mashed potatoes makes my belly smile.

Chicken is the best amongst fast food restaurant. I only wish they wouldn’t mess up my order every other time I go through drive-thru! Yum!
