Popeyes

I love Popeye’s chicken and biscuits. and I love having one down the street! My only gripe is that they don’t have spicy tenders. Oh well. Always quick and tasty.

I think I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve ever been to a Popeye’s. I never get cravings for fried chicken. Never. But on my way to meet my friend for lunch, SOMEONE was frying up some chicken, and the enticing smells of crispy chicken goodness wafted into my open windows. Bang! I had to have some. So we went to Popeye’s, which is not only good fried chicken, but it is quick and cheap, too.
Now here’s the thing I want to highlight about this Popeye’s: The employees seem to genuinely like each other, kid around with each other, and work well with each other. I always want to point it out when I see folks who laugh with each other when they work. I think that says good things about their work environment that translates to their product – certainly in the way they treat their customers, too.
