Description

Specialties

In the heart of Inman Park, there is a new secret waiting to be discovered, an escape from the hustle and stress of everyday city life; Park’s Edge is quickly becoming one of Atlanta’s premier restaurants. The menu offers an enticing array of dishes imagined from Old and New World flavors, made bold by the unique arrangement of spices inspired by the kitchens of the Chef Jorge Pacheco’s Latino upbringing. Inspired by the history and warmth of the small neighborhood where it is nestled, Park’s Edge is an oasis for those seeking an elegant and contemporary venue to sample delicious cuisine and seductive cocktails. Not to mention Park’s Edge’s brunch has recently been named the #1 brunch in Atlanta — quite possibly this has something to do with the $ 10 bottomless Mimosa’s and Bellini’s the friendly staff cheerfully serves up!

History

Established in 2008.

Chef Jorge I. Pacheco and Owner Richard N. Wadlington, Jr. bring vibrant energy and style to their newest entrepreneurial partnership, Park’s Edge Contemporary Cuisine and Lounge.

Richard and Jorge’s shared values and genuine love for entertaining, good food and strong relationships are realized in their first Atlanta establishment, Park’s Edge. They have infused Park’s Edge not only with their energy and passions, but also with an honest appreciation and love for Atlanta and the Inman Park neighborhood. The menu is a diverse range inspired by Old and New World dishes and enlivened by the bold spices of Jorge’s Latino roots. Capturing the color and eclectic attitude of the neighborhood and adding the flavor of their West Coast style, Jorge and Richard have made Park’s Edge a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Inman Park. All together a stylish lounge, contemporary restaurant, and secluded neighborhood alcove, Park’s Edge is truly a unique dining and social experience.

Business Owner

While every restaurant represents a tango of sorts between the orchestrated hospitality in the front of the house and the artful creativity in the kitchen, these restaurant dynamics are personified in owner Richard Wadlington and executive chef Jorge Pacheco – the gregarious host and the diligent chef. Wadlington grew up in Beverly Hills, where he quickly learned the art of entertaining guests thanks to parents who were in the entertainment industry. «During my teenage years, my parents entertained guests a couple of times a month,» Wadlington says. «There was always a birthday party, a movie release, or a production wrap – plenty of reasons to celebrate. My parents were incredible hosts and I learned how to be a gracious host by watching them.» Pacheco grew up in Mexico City. Imbued with his mother’s home cooking, he was inspired by the local flavors at the up-and-coming restaurants in their community where his grandmother took him.
