Papa John’s Pizza

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered pizza and soda for my movers, and the soda was flat. A few days later after the move, I made the same order for pick up. The pizza had virtually no sauce or cheese. When I returned to have the order replaced, the young woman at the front desk ignored me. The manager «offered» to remake the order as if she was doing me a favor. They really need to work on customer service here.

I ordered for delivery from this Papa Johns on a Friday night and was happy with their service. My order took less than the specified amount of time and was delivered by a respectable driver. I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and the thin crust veggie pizza and both were made as requested. I love Papa Johns and know that the group I ordered for enjoyed it too. If it is of any help, I used the app to place my order since there is no confusion when you input exactly what you want.

Zero stars. Not once but twice in a row they’ve gotten order wrong. Second time, they have me a pizza that was way less expensive than the one I ordered and paid for. I called to either get correct order or refund. They offered refund aaaaannd that never happened. Don’t order from here. They are careless and dishonest. It’s poor business to cheat people out of money, deliver a sub-​par pizza and pocket the difference.

My order didn’t come through online so when I showed up, my pizza wasn’t ready. The manager, Max, immediately got a pie made up and ready to go. He also gave me a discount since the order was faulty.
Note: the pizza was also delicious, so I have nothing but good things to say about this place and the staff here.

Awful service!!! I order 1 pizza online, called 3 times because they say the pizza will take 30 – 40 min, in my case it took more than 2 hours to get here, and only after I called 3 times and ask to talk to the manager. The manager say for next time I have a credit for a free pizza, I called today and of course I had no credit, they didn’t do anything to solve the issue or neither proposed something, and I guess the name the manager told me the first time was not a real name, because when I called today there was no manager with that name. Maybe they invent names and say the credit only for you to stop arguing and to keep you calm for the MOMENT only!!! Will never order a pizza again from here!!!

The absolute worst experience I have ever had. Ordered a pizza and wait time was 45 – 60 minutes. I waited at least 30 minutes after our allotted wait time to call and ask where our pizza was, if it was even coming all and they hung up on us multiple times. We still don’t have our pizza and they are now closed. Worst pizza ordering experience of my life. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE!!!

These guys are morons, never again will I call them. The pizza is great but delivery is not. The last 3 orders over 5 weeks have been wrong when it arrives. It’s definitely not worth messing with, they only wreck a quick football Saturday dinner. See ya… Calling the competition next time!

I order from here quite frequently during baseball season since BRAVES6 and GWIN5 codes seem to work every other day. I don’t know what it is but all other things being equal extra large always tastes the best. I think the smaller sizes stay in the oven too long for their size but XL is perfect. Not a fan of their pepperoni so much but their deli pepperoni is great when they have it. Service is always good but I carryout.

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!!!
We just placed a delivery order online from this Papa John’s location, and boy was that the WORST IDEA EVER! First of all, they delivered to us the wrong order. When we called to let them know, they immediately sent the delivery guy back and took the wrong order back. Well, that was great, except the order WE placed was not with him. He said he was going to come right back with our order.
We waited 20 minutes and called the store to check up on our order. The first guy that we talked to was clueless and didn’t know how to handle our mixed up order situation, so he transferred us to the store manager, who turned out to be an even bigger IDIOT. We explained the situation and simply asked how long it would take for our order to get here. He cut us off abruptly and said that he was making our order from scratch, since someone else had gotten our order and started eating it. We calmly asked again how long it would take to get our order, and he replied that he doesn’t know because he’s having to make it from scratch and he doesn’t know where his delivery guys are. When we asked to cancel our order, he said OK and immediately hung up on us.
Really? You run this pizza store and you don’t know how long it takes to make a pizza? You’re the manager and you don’t know where your employees are? If that’s not incompetency, I don’t know what is!
Oh, and you mixed up our order, and can’t even own up to it and freaking apologize? Customer service is clearly NOT in this guy’s dictionary. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from this place!!!

Why? Why do I keep ordering pizza from here? Why? Is it because it’s almost free? Or there’s always some coupon code that makes me feel better about pizza that may or may not contain ‘real’ cheese. I’ll try harder not to order pizza from Papa but no promises.

Ordered online. Took an hour to be delivered and it was just
warm. won’t make that mistake again with all the places to choose
from in this area.

Ok, I don’t really like Papa’s pizza. But on a rough day, I do love his cheesesticks. Maybe it takes me back to Chanello’s in college (Charlottesville’s local pizza chain we loved, especially late night! Oh, memories…) or maybe it’s just because I love cheese and bread and naughtiness — and PJ’s will deliver without a minimum fee.
It’s Friday, it was a *very* rough day, and I had salad earlier. I’m having cheesesticks for dinner. Ordered online so I didn’t even have to talk to anyone! Sweet. Happy weekend, y’all!
