5 star work but 1 star business practice…
They gave my phone number to a marketing company, now I get called all the time.
This is a huge pet peeve of mine — I dislike marketing calls more than a bad martini, or soggy pizza… even more than I dislike the Buckeyes of Ohio State.
On the bright side, Murrell’s came out within a few days and performed a good service at a fair rate. They did not have to destroy my basement, nor my landscaping, and they placed a 1-​yr guarantee on their work. It’s been a wet year so far and everything is holding up just fine. BUT still, they gave my phone number to a marketing company for follow-up…it’s my work mobile… and they call it all the time, even after I asked them to stop calling it. This is a good way to turn what should have been a good review and persuaded others to use their service into a «fair» review and keep others looking for alternatives — or at least suggest they give out false phone numbers.
