Trevor did one move and it went fairly well except that he texts me a receipt before the job had been done and wanted to be paid. I have never heard of that and I am a small company. I informed him that I will pay after the delivery and I did. I called again about a week later and booked another job with him. Then he scheduled a time with the customer receiving the item. She scheduled her time around the delivery and claimed he had an emergency. That was for day 1. We understood. She then took time off of work to be there for the timed delivery and we spoke to him that day. He kept changing the times then never showed up nor called. UNBELIEVABLE. I don’t know how this company is still in business.

I saw Trevor’s ad «Mini Sized Moves» on craigslist and it sounded like a good solution to buying a dining room suite from an individual who had no way to deliver it when I had no truck to pick it up. I entered a request for a price quote on the website and then I called him on ⁹⁄₂ (Friday before Labor Day) and we agreed the following Saturday, ⁹⁄₁₁ would be the best day for the delivery. He said «since it’s so far out, call me next week to schedule it». I never did get a response from the website.
I called him the following Wednesday, ⁹⁄₆ to confirm the date. He said «yes, I have you on the schedule». I asked him to confirm the pickup address and he said «let me see if I can pull it up on my phone. I’ll call you back.» He didn’t call back, so I called him again on Thursday, ⁹⁄₇ to ask what time Saturday he had me on the schedule. He replied (via text and phone call) «what time would you like?» I told him 10am and he agreed.
Saturday morning I arrive at the seller’s home at 9:50. At 10:10 I text him to ask if he’s in the neighborhood. He texts back «they’re on their way». Twenty minutes later, he calls to say the driver has a regular job as a plumber and he got called in to that job, so he turned the truck around and is going to his regular job.
I had to call six rental companies to find one that had a cargo van available and impose on a friend of mine to give up his Saturday afternoon to help me move furniture. I also was 4 hours late getting out of town for an event I already had planned.
If you want to hire a mover who may or may not show up, even after you have confirmed the date numerous times, this might be the perfect mover for you. For the rest of us, I’d say don’t waste your time or money on someone who obviously doesn’t know the first thing about customer service.

Recently moved to Duluth by myself and found this company on Craigslist and thought I would give them a try. The service they offer is exactly what I needed which was basically someone with a truck and another person to help move something like a couch that’s too big to move on ones own. The service was supposed to cost around 50 to 60 dollars which I found very reasonable, considering most furniture companies will charge you 100 regardless of where the delivery is. I got on their website and requested a quote, the next day speak with a person and schedule an appointment for 4pm on a Thur. I leave work early, around 3pm to change clothes and meet him at the pickup location. He calls me at 3:30 to inform me that he has no truck because he can’t rent one because some lady wrote him a bad check and the other truck he had was broke down. Very unprofessional to bring up something like that, but I’m a reasonable guy and figure maybe it’s a fluke, so I give him another chance. The person I was buying the furniture from was on a very tight schedule and I managed to work out with him to do the move the following day which was at 5pm Friday. I speak with the company rep early in the day Friday, around 10am and state that we MUST be at the pickup location at 5pm sharp. He assures me has his truck and everything is a go and should be no problems. Again I leave work early this time at 4pm (casual day no need to change clothes), and start to make my way to the pick up location. At around 4:45 he sends me a text and says he needs 45 minutes because he’s stuck in traffic on I-​285. I had lived in Duluth for about a week and a half at that point and even I KNOW you don’t get on 285 around 5pm unless you feel like sitting in a parking lot, and if you are taking that route you allow plenty of time. This time I was furious and said just forget the whole deal. One would think after not keeping the first appointment it would have been a high priority to keep the second but obviously not how this company operates. The person I was buying the furniture from could not wait and had prior engagements so I was basically screwed. Luckily a colleague was nice enough to offer to help after hearing the hassle I had gone through.
Anyway I’m not one to write reviews like this and I’m not here to just simply bash this company, and to be honest probably would not have done it, but he crossed a line. After I informed the company rep that the deal was off, he decided to be rude and send me another text and I quote «U are the only customer I had today. Sorry I couldn’t center my whole day around you.» So despite the fact I was his only customer he still couldn’t keep the appointment??? Bottom line if you need to move something work with another company that will keep their appointments!

Trevor came through in the end. I found him via Craigslist and set up a move time on a Sunday. He called that afternoon to tell me his van broke down, but he lined up someone else to complete the move. The move didn’t happen until 3 hours after originally scheduled. However, the job was completed that day, no damage to the furniture that was delivered, and all at a great rate. Next time I need something delivered, I’ll contact Mini-​Sized Moves.

I bought some furniture off someone on craigslist and needed help moving it to my apartment. I came across this guy Trevor who had advertised all over craigslist and even had a website
where you enter all your information and he provides you with a quote. It seemed pretty professional and hence I put in all the information and submitted the form on his website. The next morning since he had’nt called back yet (his website said he’ll call back with a quote and pickup time), I gave him a ring. He gave me a quote and we agreed on a pickup time of 4pm. At around 3.45 I called him to check whether he’d be there on time; however my call wasn’t picked up and so I left him a voice mail. Since I didn’t want the seller to wait on me I tried calling him again at 415; however this time the call just went directly to his voice mail. I can only assume he switched his cell off as I tried calling him several time during the next hour and the same thing happened!
I was pretty much left in the lurch and very close to losing out on a great deal as the seller had a number of other potential buyers. Luckily I found this other guy in marrietta on craigslist who helped said he could be there in an hour. I struck a deal with him and got the move done. Trevor from minisized moves never had the deceny to even call back and explain!
