Midtown Passport Acceptance Facility

I’ve heard some pretty horrible stories about passport offices andddd this was the best experience in a government facility ever! The passport office is located in the back of the actual post office on West Peachtree and even though I made an appointment, the lady at the front desk didn’t see my name on the list but she got right in to get the process started.
Jessica Stevens (yeah I put her government name just in case her boss sees this) was soooo nice and helpful. Very friendly. I completed all my paperwork online prior to my visit so I would strongly suggest doing that but the forms can be completed once you arrive. The process took all of 10 minutes and I was very happy with everything.

No line, fast service and friendly! They accept walk ins and are a real govt office. I recommend this place to anyone needing a passport.

This place is a government-​run passport processing facility. It is not one of sketchy «we’ll expedite your passport using incantations and FedEx» offices that litter Google search results. It’s upstairs from the Midtown post office on west peach. They offer passport renewals, new passports, and passport photos, among other services. Also there is an ersatz gallery of entertaining posters depicting foreign vistas.
There was zero wait on a Monday morning for an appointment to get a first-​time passport for my kid. The place was well marked, easy to access, and totally clean. There are lots of desks to fill out paperwork and even an area for kids to sit on Ikea furniture and look at television.
Every staff member I interacted with was totally pleasant and knowledgable. We were in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. This is the place you want to go for your passport needs.
