Great Burgers!
Yes, I said burgers — at a pizza place. We come here for lunch on a regular basis and while I love the pizza, salads, and sandwiches, I was convinced to try the Carnie Burger. Now it’s one of my go-​to meals! The flavor is delicious and you need at least two napkins to finish it. Potatoes with onions on the side are a nice change to the usual french fries that usually go with burgers elsewhere. Fresh bun and grilled onions! What’s not to love?!

Nifty Mellow Mushroom in the location that originally had Rocky’s Pizza. Love the décor here — the VW Microbus in wall is, in a word, awesome. I also like the figural Mel’s that line the patio.
As Mellow Mushrooms go, the pizza here has the same great consistency of the other locations — I do think this is a great people watching location, at least when the weather’s nice enough to sit on the patio. Great service here too.

Can anyone really complain about Mellow Mushroom? I have to say that MM is very consistent from the service to the food. I’ve frequented many locations throughout Georgia. I leave full and satisfied every time. Their calzone is a favorite of mine, it never comes out looking «skimpy» like the inconsistency I find at many other pizza places.
The sourdough crust adds flavor to any dish here. The staff as a whole is friendly and attentive. As long as MM keeps up with these simple things, I will always support!

Mellow Mushroom is one of my all time favorite pizza places. They have so much more on the menu than your average pizza offerings and toppings. The pretzels alone are worth going for!
One of my favorite specialty pizzas is their Hail Caesar! It is a cheese pizza with pesto instead of marinara and a Caesar salad with chicken piled on top. It’s the perfect mix of pizza and salad.
I’ve never had a bad experience at this mellow mushroom and have always best greeted with the nicest of staff. I’m so glad it’s on my way home and I can not only call in my order for pickup but also trust that my order will be right every time.

Get sick every time at this location.
I’ve ordered GF pizza twice (due to allergy– not just a preference) and I’ve gotten very sick — even after having preemptory conversations with the wait staff.
It’s fine not to cater to those with dietary restrictions– just don’t pretend that you do.
They get sick.

Super cool! And beyond friendly! Food is awesome and so is the service! Went to other mellow mushroom and it sucked! If your looking for the true hip mellow mushroom experience it’s worth the trip to come here no matter where your staying!

Being a buckhead girl this place is on rotation, good salads and good pizza. My only gripe is you can’t get pizza by the slice. The service is hit or miss but usually friendly 10 out of 10 times. Even the mellow mushroom in orlando is pretty dope which was suprising.

Really great service tonight which was nice. It’s never bad but not always super and Kayte tonight was on top of it throughout our meal.
Was here with my kids and my daughter’s friend. I got the mushroom soup which was great and I highly recommend it.
Two calzones and two personal pan pizzas. Everything tasty and 4 to go boxes as it was more than enough.

Ellen and I like to play poker in bars. Mellow Mushroom runs a game with Full House Hold’em on Tuesday nights. Though I could cheat, and mark the cards with a bit of carbonara sauce on the aces edge, I don’t because I’m a damn good poker player.
We sit down to play and split a medium pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a pitcher of PBR. The cards begin to fly and I catch pocket cowboys on my third hand. I look around trying to spot the whale so I can isolate him and take all his chips. If you are sitting at a poker table and can’t spot the whale, it’s probably you. I raise on the button three times the big blind and take a bite of my pizza. Delicious; the sauce is tangy with just the right amount of garlic, basil and oregano. The crust is thin and crispy; charred around the outer edges giving it the hint of smoky flavor. Resting upon it, a bevy of fresh mushrooms and thick circular pepperoni slices.
Everyone folds except Ellen, sitting in the big blind, sipping her PBR in a frosted glass. She wipes her lips with a napkin, smiles and re-​raises me.
«Honey, you don’t want to get in too deep. There’s no shame in folding. Live to play another day,» I say, smooth calling her bet.
The flop comes out AK8 rainbow. I’m now sitting with trip kings and it’s just me and Ellen and I’m thinking do I really want to bust her out on the third hand of the night? Then I think «this is poker; take no prisoners.» I take a bite of my pizza, notice no oily grease stain on the serving tray — nice. Ellen checks to me and I make a bet of about ½ the pot.
«It’s going to be a long night for you if you bust out now, baby,» I unctuously grin. Ellen just smiles and calls my bet. The turn comes an 8. A full house — Kings over 8s. The hell with it. I push all — in. Ellen instacalls and shows pocket aces, dominating my full house with hers. The river is a deuce — Ellen shouts «SEND IT!» and I am sent to the rail amid howls of laughter.
At least there’s beer and pizza. :-(

Food-​wise, the pizza is delicious and fresh. The dough is crispy and tasty, and the each ingredient looks and tastes good. I very much enjoyed the House Special pizza. Plus, the service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Based on these factors, i would definitely go back, but there are two major cons. One is the pizza is bit pricey for the amount (like i would order a papa johns pizza for half price). If it was slightly cheaper, i would go back more often. Also, the parking is very limited. I actually tried to come here three times before but because of the unavailable parking spaces, each attempt to eat here failed until today. If you haven’t tried their pizza, i would definitely recommend trying. :)

Mellow Mushroom is one of our favorite pizza places in Atlanta. We have been to this location several times and it is consistently great. The service can be a little slow if they are really crowded, but normally it’s just fine. I think the best part of the pizza is the crust that is thick and a little doughy. I think they use molasses instead of sugar and that gives it it’s unique color and taste. They also top it off with parmesan and garlic butter and it is so so so good. Outside of the crust the toppings they use are high quality and they come up with some pretty interesting combinations. Some of my favorites are:
House Special — Great mix of meats and veggies and I love the whole tomato slices they put on top
Red Skin Potato — Olive Oil Garlic base with potato, bacon, onions, and cheese topped with sour cream and ranch. Yum!
Mighty Meaty — TONS of meat!
Holy Shiitake — Tons of Shiitake, Portobello, and Button mushrooms on a garlic and olive oil base topped with several types of cheeses and truffle oil. Damn good pizza!
The sandwiches are really good here too and I love getting the Steak & Cheese and Meatball. The Greek Salad is also a must order here. You can order a small one and easily split it for 2 people as an appetizer.
The bar has a good selection of craft beers and pretty decent prices as well several spirits and wine. If for some reason you haven’t been to a mellow mushroom you need to go right away. We love it and will keep coming back.

This place typically has good food depending on the location. I’ve been to other Mellow Mushrooms and had pleasant experience. We came to this location on a nice Sunday evening for Fantasy Football Draft. They gave us our own private room with door (if needed). The room was great but the TV’s in there had a green tint. Time to replace?
I had the Shrimp Hoag Boy. Grilled jerk shrimp, grilled mushrooms, caramelized onions, pesto mayo, lettuce & Roma tomatoes. It was okay. Very dry. I think it’s something I would pick up for lunch but would not recommend it on any other occasion. Next time, I’ll probably stick with pizza!

This place is a good chain restaurant for lunch! We actually came to this particular location for our Fantasy Football draft and had our own private room! The room was great! It even had sliding doors to close for privacy (or in case our football conversions got too loud).
I’ve had many different sandwiches here. Most recently, I had the Chicken and Cheese which includes onions, peppers, lettuce, cheese and grilled chicken. The waitress forgot to ask what kind of bread I wanted, and I forgot to say it, so I ended up with a hoagie on white bread with sesame seeds. To be honest, it was like eating a big loaf of bread. The wheat bread is MUCH better! I’ve also had the Chicken Philly and the Chicken Parmesan, which are pretty good. They have certain lunch specials during the week, for example, the $ 5 slice and small salad.
The service is not very fast so definitely make sure you have some time to kill! Overall, this place is pretty good with many different sandwich and pizza options.

We had takeout from here so this review is for the food only not the service.
Pizza here is quite good American Style pizza. We got the Thai pizza and the buffalo wings.
Thai Pizza: Surprisingly excellent. The flavors were much more sophisticated than I would expect from a pizza joint. The crust was quite good and a solid representation of this style of pizza.
Wings: The wings were good, when you consider they are baked and not fried, they were excellent. Only thing I would say is that they could have used a bit more sauce.
Overall this is a solid pizza joint. Only real complaint I have is that it doesn’t do delivery. For this style of pizza I usually expect delivery.

I love this place and it’s right across the street from my school. I haven’t ordered anything that taste bad. I’m a plain cheese pizza lady. The cheese was great but melting into the box because everything was so fresh and hot. Today I’ll have the Mellowterranian. Love the fact that they put a twists on differ types of cultural staple dishes. This is gonna pretty much be a gyro pizza. Nom nom
Prices are decent. I’ve shared a small with a classmate, each person getting 2 slices. Very filling for lunch.

CATERING FEEDBACK:
I ordered 30 small pizzas, all with different toppings from this location. I dealt with Michael, one of the managers. He was great! He not only provided me with an itemized invoices, but he delivered everything and set it up for us. He also gave me a MM shirt. Delivery was on time and we even had one person out and Michael was more than willing to remove that from our order.
So the food…
Everyone loved their pizzas. They were warm and crispy and had the perfect amount of toppings on them. We had the dressings on the side for dipping so they would not get hot (extra point for this!).
I plan to use them again for our catering needs.

One of the most awkward situations in a grown man’s life is when he has to sit on the toilet for an extended period of time in a public place. It’s embarrassing and all you want to do is finish and get out before anyone figures out you were the one that blew up the bathroom.
Added uneasiness comes in small bathrooms with only one stall. Most stalls are built from a kit of some sort and there’s usually a gap between the door and where it latches. Smaller space have the stall arranged facing a urinal, creating awkwardness for anyone who comes in and pulls out their wang and sees a guy sitting on the toilet looking forward. Plus, unless you’re into that sorta thing, it’s gross watching someone take a dump.
The folks at this Mellow Mushroom are genius sand added a small piece of wood to cover this gap.
It’s wonderful and I felt so comfortable I actually wrote this entire review sitting on the toilet. Thanks to the new Unilocal for Android app that lets you post reviews directly from your phone, you all are able to read this before I wipe and wash my hands. Cool, huh?

Pretty standard pizza place for Atlanta.
Not worth a special trip but if you’re in the area, it’s solid.

I order take out from this location around once a month. I’ve had nothing but nice people and excellent service – on the phone and when I go in to pick it up. The pizza quality is superb across their brand (I’ve probably eaten at 4 – 5 different locations in metro Atlanta). I LOVE their house calzone, kosmic karma and just plain cheese pizzas. This location is bigger than what it looks like from the outside, and has a nice sports-​bar atmosphere with a lot of HD TVs and a good selection of beers on tap. The only complaint I would have is their limited parking, which after 5PM isn’t that big of a problem because additional parking opens up behind the establishment.
