Maxi Emission Check Station

I can’t believe I forgot to update this again this past October. Seriously the best emissions station I’ve found in my 9 years in Georgia! Again this past October, I rolled in for my emissions check and 8 minutes later (they’re getting quicker!) I was done and out the door. Their prices have gone up slightly — now $ 16 — but still the best deal I have found!

4 stars is for being the least expensive emissions station in the city that I know of. $ 16.
However my time here was much longer than others. The first time I came I was sent away and told to come back the next day because they were doing something with the machine. He told me to come back tomorrow and it’d only be 5 minutes.
I came back the next day. He had to restart the computer among other things so it took 15 minutes to reboot, then 5 min to actually test. 20 minutes or so total.
I wish I was in and out like everyone else, but I wasn’t.
LOCATION: it’s a straight shot. After you exit just keep straight. You’ll go through a neighborhood with many nice houses, then you’ll suddenly see Maxi Food Mart on the left and the emissions testing is right next to it.
You can pull your car in, then the guy will come out a few minutes later.

$ 16. Five minutes. Easy as pie.

This place was really good. Pulled in, hopped out, got emissions tested in no time flat (as fast as the computer would allow), paid and was out the door. I went in the early afternoon on a weekday. No waiting and the guy knew exactly what he was doing.
