First visit. I was enroute to see a movie at my secret movie theatre, when I want to disappear where no one knows my name. Trying to match some towels that I got at my favorite Marshall’s on Piedmont, and spied this one sitting nonchalantly in the corner. Decided to dip in and see if I could find them. No such luck. No designer towels at this location, which is surprising given its’ location, and the way the target demographic likes designer stuff. I missed my initial movie start time putzing around in here. Found some decent stuff, a couple of real finds. Of course, I always go to Marshalls prepared to spend at least an hour or so scouting and looking. This time was no different. I was exhausted when I left and went to the next movie. Met staff members Jasmine and Demetrice who were helpful, very nice, and friendly– I added the 4th star JUST for their exemplary customer service!

Im so disappointed, there was a time when Marshalls had the go to items that you needed. I guess all the commercials went to their heads. Sadly, depends on what side of town you go to, for you to get nice items and a cleaner store.

The daughter had to return a shirt, and I needed a picture frame. While we were here a lady was arrested for shoplifting. That was different. She was crying, and talking about her children were in the car. I thought to myself, wow, you came to shoplift and left your kids in the car while you were doing so. I can only imagine the charges they are going to book you on. I found a frame on the clearance rack for $ 3.99 that was initially marked for $ 9.99. I didn’t see anything wrong with the frame at the time so I thought great deal. I also found a re-usable Happy Birthday banner on the clearance rack for 70 cents. Got the frame home and there is a small piece of the glass chipped off in a corner that you can’t see unless you are removing the glass from the frame, and a picture will stay in the same frame for an eternity with me, so I don’t have to worry about that. Still the same cluttered racks of clothing, but the rest of the store is getting more organized.

This place sucks! The stotr is a mess in the women’s/ladies clothing section. The shoes and hats were organized and Home Décor looked neat as well. But how can one possibly shop when there is nothing but clutter all over the place! And I am not at all happy to see the same purse in this store for $ 129 and it was at the Marshall’s near my home for $ 80. Really? And it’s out of season too! No ma’am!!!
