I’ve lived at The Marquis at Briarcilff for about two months now and I’m loving it! To start, the Ricky(property manager) is the best. She actually cares about the tenants here. There have been issues but non that have gone unanswered and I’ve never had to wait more then 24hrs for maintenance orders to be addressed. My neighbors here couldn’t be better. It’s a smaller community where you get a smile and a wave from everyone you pass and in many cases invited over for drinks. =) I would recommend The Marquis at Briarcliff to any young professionals looking for a clean, friendly and well managed property.

Great place to stay. Great service and helpful staff. The price is incredibly low for a 3 bedroom townhouse. I would say that it is very ideal for students or someone with an entry level position. Everything is very close by and the pool is really nice! When we moved in, we had no cell phone reception for Verizon and we had to buy a cell phone booster. Only downside is that we lost water 4 times in 4 months. They do fix things rather quickly. Also, every apartment can have bugs sometimes, but I have yet to seen one that bothers me. Apart from that, everything is great here and it’s a good place to live if you want to live near Emory and close to Buckhead and Atlanta. You can get something nicer for your money, but if your a student and looking to save money and live in a nice, safe, and friendly community, this is the place for you!

When my boyfriend and his friends first got this place, I was surprised that they got so much for such a low price! I was very impressed, and happy that they had found a nice, affordable place to live. There was plenty of space, a pool, gym, and stores very close by. Seemed great. Of course only after signing a lease and moving in did we all discover that there is no cell reception whatsoever here. They had to buy a cell signal booster, and we still get dropped calls and poor coverage. The walls are very thin, and the neighbors’ music keeps us all awake, and the strong smell of their weed permeates my friends’ apartment on the side facing said neighbors. On op of that, we’ve spotted numerous roaches and centipedes around the apartment, and last night a cockroach fell from the ceiling. I don’t know how it happened, but a cockroach fell from the ceiling. Today, the ceiling around the AC vents started leaking water. It may have been because of a water main break, but it certainly doesn’t look goof for the Marquis. Whenever a ticket is put in to get something fixed, the guys come round pretty promptly. They haven’t been able to fix the noisy ceiling fans, however. We’ll see what they can do about the pests and leaks. Anyway – a heads-up for anyone looking for a place to live. This area seemed great at first, but after a month and a half of residency the problems are coming out. I guess we know now why the price seemed good! Won’t miss these things when I go back to my functional apartment in Maryland.
