Larry’s Locksmith

This company is little more than a scam artist, and I highly recommend that no one EVER use their service. I told them exactly what I needed during my first phone call. They quoted me a price. The locksmith came out and performed the exact service that they quoted me (which took less than 30 min.), yet he charged TRIPLE what was quoted on the telephone. Unfortunately, the job was at a rental property I own, so I was not there at the time of service to refuse payment (they require payment at the time of service, which should have been a yellow flag, since most sub-​contractors gladly send bills or allow credit card payment over the phone). My tenant paid the «technician» over triple the amount quoted, after listening to the guy say things like «holiday pricing» — even though it wasn’t a holiday and nothing like that was ever discussed on my phone call with the office. I called on Monday to ask why the charge was triple what I was quoted, even though no extra work was done beyond what we discussed on the phone. I was basically told to F-​off. Of course they can say that; they already have my money. My only recourse is to warn others to RUN from this company. So, if you want to get screwed by a locksmith company, use Larry’s. If you typically deal with honest companies who treat their customers with respect, never ever ever call this company. They will quote you one price, charge you another, then treat you like dirt when you question the charge.
