Stupid way to run a practice.
They do not take credit, debit, FSA, HSA, whatever. You can’t call the billing office to pay the bill over the phone. You can’t even write your CC info in the back of the statement and mail it to them. They make PAYING them as difficult as possible. Stay away.

I have gone to Dr Hasso for about 6 years now and she is very very good. I went in once for what I thought was bronchitis and she quickly diagnosed that I actually had pneumonia. She immediately sent me to get an xray and gave me antibiotics and I was much better quickly. My husband also goes to her and she gave him guidance that a pain he was having after hours deserved immediate attention and told him to go to the ER which we did. She was right on target with that advice as he needed immediate surgery. I would recommend her. She is kind, while being no-​nonsense at the same time. Highly recommend.

Good doctor but expect over two hour wait time. Its happened three times to the wife and I. I could understand for a doctor who has a lot of emergency room visits, but this is just a case of overbooking.

Is Dr. Hasso the best general internist in Atlanta? I think so, and so do the five friends of mine who also see Dr. Hasso as their primary physician. I’ve been her patient for almost five years now. She has a direct, no-​nonsense style of practicing medicine.
Dr. Hasso is brilliant, thorough, and takes the time to listen. She is a teaching doctor, so if you are comfortable with residents being in the room while you meet, you’ll have Dr. Hasso plus a four or five residents going over your symptoms — like a scene right out of House M.D. Having the residents in the room is completely optional, based on the patient’s comfort level.
It is also worth mentioning that Dr. Hasso’s main nurse, Ozrenka, is marvelous. I misspelled her name the first time I posted this review, but I have since corrected it – I think that is the correct spelling. Anyway, she goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable, and has a fantastic sense of humor about everything — including my need to lie back while blood is being drawn. What? Doesn’t everyone do that?

Strong NO recommendation to Dr. Liza Hasso and staff. Where do I even begin? The rude receptionist, the warm temperature in the office, the 30 minute wait time to be called back despite no one else in the waiting room, the unpaid intern who asked me questions I had already answered on their forms and didn’t even know how to take my blood pressure, the 45 minutes wait after being called back for the doctor to come in, or is it that Dr. Hasso hastily introduced herself, asked me ZERO questions and seemed to be so rushed and tweaky that I could scarcely understand a word she said in her thick accent. Overall, a very unpleasant experience with total wait time of about 2 hours for a common COLD. Just bizarre.

NEVER COME HERE. my appointments have been set for at least an hour before they actually see me. she has a ton of students in training so everything takes so much longer than it should. NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

They don’t take credit cards, theyre slow, you’ll get worked up by a student without supervision & get a ridiculous medical bill!

Dr. Liza Hasso was recommended by a former colleague of mine when I first moved to Atlanta almost 10 years ago. From my first appointment… I have called her my primary physician.
A few things to look for in a good doctor/doctor’s office…
* Friendly staff that remembers you when you call/​visit.
* Doctor and staff that understands your needs. Dr. Hasso has worked in all kinds of medicine.
* Very accommodating when it comes to scheduling appointments or needing to be in and out due to quick lunch breaks.
* Great location — close to Buckhead, close to Midtown.
Dr. Hasso tends to have several medical school (last year) students at her office. They shadow her and take vitals. It’s impressive to see how much they look up to her. If this makes you comfortable though… she will have they to leave. You just have to ask.
Note…the office only takes cash and checks… no credit cards. This isn’t a big deal if you prepare for it. there’s also an ATM in the main building, if you forget. :)
Bonus…she also has a Sandy Springs office (I’m not sure what days she is there), but this is an option for people who live OTP.
Overall…for the last 10 years I have loved having Dr. Hasso as my doctor. I recommend her all the time and will continue to go to her while I live in Atlanta.
