She loves helping customers find «Just the Thing» they need for themselves or a friend. Terri has over 40 years of experience in the fashion world and loves to share her knowledge with others. She especially has a passion for accessories.

Terri buys for the store along side her daughter, Tracy. They are obviously of different generations, which is what makes «Just the Thing» so appealing to women of all ages. I just stumbled upon Just the Thing on the way home from lunch in Buckhead with a friend. I had a fabulous experience there! As others have mentioned, the store is definitely great for gifts (for yourself or others). There is a wide selection of jewelry and cute purses starting at really affordable prices.
What particularly impressed me about this store were the women working it. They were really friendly and great at answering all my questions. They also didn’t hover or act annoyed when I took my time browsing through the store (unfortunately this is not the case at many other boutiques).
Definitely recommend this store! I will be back :)

Just the Thing does have cute accessories and gifts. It can be somewhat pricey; especially when you realize you have seen the same necklace they are selling for $ 50 for $ 25 elsewhere. The ladies that work at this store are pretty rude; if you don’t walk in there and act like you have money, they will barely talk to you and just follow you around the store. Needless to say, the customer service is lacking here. I do recommend the store for its convenience and somewhat unique items, but after living in Atlanta for a while, there are definitely other accessory stores where you will find better prices and nicer store employees.

I love this little shop. They have great, inexpensive jewelry to spice up any outfit These are not things you see in the department stores. Earrings tend to be $ 25 and necklaces vary. Its affordable and the location in Buckhead is a few doors down from the post office on Pharr Rd.

They have some unique accessories but other gifts can be found elsewhere. There are clerks that are rude and seem annoyed to help you and wrap a gift.

Accessories galore! It’d been awhile since I’d ventured back over to Just The Thing, but I had time to kill today before a doctor’s appointment and had so much fun checking out their newest pretties for spring.
They’re doing a bit of remodeling in the back part of the cute little house that’s the shop, but it totally doesn’t interfere with the selection of arranged-​by-​color necklaces, earrings, bracelets, purses and more. I especially loved the great array of gold necklaces and earrings — so chic for early spring and into summer self-​decorating!
Prices are *great* — even if you’re not doing much shopping right now, there’s probably something you can find and justify that will spruce you up and put a smile on your face. Or, as others mentioned, if you need a gift for a girlfriend or mom, this is a perfect place to find a little something she might not buy for herself that’s just for fun.

This store is great for gifts. There are a lot of things that are almost on there way out trend wise, but the women who runs it is older, so mmm its kind of expected.
They do have a fair amount of fake yurman and things of that nature which people seem to like. I have found some neat gifts in that 18 – 35 price range. Totally worth checking it out. The parking is weird and behind the building and sometimes you have to be careful to not get hit by a careening lexus suv…
The real downside are the hours, it closes at like 5 or 5:30, so if you are not a soccer mom then it can get tough to get there, if you say have a job, then its a weekend thing.

Just the thing is ok, at first you get excited with all the many things they have but after a while you realize that half of the stuff is not your taste or it is turning already. Just the thing just wasnt my thing :) and yes, I agree with Chris C, return/​exchange policy, not the best.
