I ordered a calzone. It wasn’t bad — just not super great. It was extremely doughy. The service was good. I’d say this is a good neighborhood, order something on the fly, place.

I ate here with my family on a week night. It wasn’t crowded at all(which my wife says is usually a bad sign). We were greeted when we came in and told to seat ourselves. The waitress was great. She was friendly and helpful. The guys behind the bar who were cooking and serving were cool as well. We ordered a large meats pizza with green olives(a must have for my wife to think a pizza place is any good). The pizza was excellent and the cost was reasonable. All in all it was an enjoyable experience. I would recommend giving them try.(The calzones looked great as well. I’ll try one next time.)

The great white pizza is good… when they make it right. The customer service is horrible. I had been a regular customer here since they first opened. Months ago, my pizza was burnt on the bottom. Recently, the dough was undercooked. Because the store had closed that night I had to wait until the next day to call. I was told to bring back the pizza so they can verify that it was undercooked and they would make me another one. That’s it. Never mind the inconvenience of driving 9 miles(roundtrip), the fact that they messed up, and my loss of appetite for their food, I decided I just wanted a refund. When I get there, they claim they are unable to issue a credit back to my card. They claim to contact the owner who is traveling in Alabama. They tell me when he arrives in Alabama, he will have to issue the refund to my card. After a week with no refund to my card, I just disputed the charge through my bank. I don’t even want to deal with these people anymore. That’s the last time I spend my money with them.

The pizza is pretty good. The crust is crispy yet the pizza isn’t dry, which tends to happen. The sauce is more of a savory robust sauce. My daughter’s loved the garlic knots. Warning, they are not hand made and are frozen and reheated, however they toss it in olive oil and fresh garlic so it isn’t just straight out of the box. Overall a good pizza place.

I’m so angry. 3rd time here and I’ve had a poor experience every time. Never going back. Food sucks. Service sucks. Shame on them. My waiter didn’t come around for 30 minutes and then my lunch break was over. I would have ordered more but she wasted ALL my time. And the first 2 times the food was just poor. I’d rather eat at ANY other place on the planet.

The Special Italian is a good pie! I think all the Johnny’s spots are solid if you want a pretty good pizza.

Best pizza in Atlanta I’m loving the barbecue chicken pizza a little bit more expensive than other pizza places but definitely worth the price. Once of my favorite spot.

This has been, and still is one of my favourite lunch spots in the area. I use to work in the Fulton Industrial area, and I always had trouble finding a place to eat until one of my co-workers took me here. I don’t usually right this down as a plus, but given the nature of the surrounding populous, I enjoyed the fact that I didn’t feel like I might get shot or stabbed going here(if you go to Fulton Industrial, you will understand why I say this). The food is great, and the staff is friendly, and I found myself wanting to go here at least once a week with my co-workers. I would usually split a medium pizza and a side of breaksticks with another person, and we would leave pretty satisfied. Although I must say, during my last visit, the breadsticks were kind of weak, not sure what that was about. Definitely a great lunch spot to consider if you are in the area. I wouldn’t come to Fulton Industrial for any other restaurant, especially after 6PM, when it starts getting really sketchy.

I stopped in on my way to six flags for a quick lunch. I ordered the Johnny’s special sub. It came out to toasted perfection. This was honestly the best sub I have ever eaten. On top of that, everyone was friendly and service was great! A must stop if you are within the area. 5STARS!!!

So im in Atlanta for work and lunch time rolls around and my stomach is growling. I ask a couple of the guys out where im working«whats good to eat around here» They mention Some pizza place so I say im down for that. As soon as I walk in im greeted by everyone with a «welcome to johnnys!» I take a seat glance at the menu and im torn between getting a Calzone or some pizza slices. Ahhhh such a hard choice! So i decide on two slices of pizza 1 mushroom and pepperoni. Best of both worlds right? I get the pizza and practically burn my mouth trying to eat it because it is so hot! I was hungry… Anyway I liked that the pizza had a thin crust and was crispy. Although the dough was not the greatest ive ever had the pizza was still decent. I like a little more sauce on my pizza then what was given. DAMN it should have gotten the calzone! Awesome service at this place I will go back next time im in ATL and try that calzone!

All Johnny’s chain spots seem to have a different style about them. Which is cool, since it makes this chain seem a little more ‘unchain like’. However… different isn’t always better! Service here is strange. I almost felt like I shouldn’t be there, is this an invite only pizza joint? They will stroll over to you to maybe take your order if you are deemed worthy of their limited attention. Ah, the pizza. This is probably the sweetest sauce I’ve ever tasted on a pie. Are they loading it with sugar? I’m not even sure how they accomplished it. A positive is that they put the proper amount of sauce on the pie(most places put too little), and if they can stop with the sugar and start to think spice they may be moving in the right direction. The cheese melt was pretty good, but the crust is a little too doughy for my liking. With some adjustments, they may get the typical 3 stars any Johnny’s would get for their pie. But for now, they get my too many veges and not enough meat rating of 2 stars… from the NY Pizza Guy.

Now don’t get me wrong, it is great to be skilled at multi-tasking. But when it comes to food service there definitely should be a limit. I walked in and after what seemed to be 5 mins a waitress finally came close enough to me, where I could ask without screaming, for a menu so I could place a to-go order. She stated she would return to place my order. After I decided on my order I then proceeded to wait another extended time period for the waitress to come back so I could place my order. To add to my disappointment that waitress never arrived. I made my way up to the cashier where two other customers that came in after me were placing orders. And guess who was taking the orders, yes, no other than the waitress that made a commitment to come to me and take my order. I felt betrayed, bamboozled, hoodwinked, and deceived. I finally placed my order and waited on my pizza. And waited on my pizza. And waited on my pizza. Did I mention I waited on my pizza? Most of this waiting was due to the fact that the waitress was taking dine-in orders, serving tables, cleaning tables, taking to go orders, and boxing and bagging to go orders. My pizza was waiting in a window desperate for a owner because it was being neglected of a proper boxing and a 4 foot travel distance to my hands. After all patience had left me, I had to stop the waitress/bust girl/cashier/boxer in her tracks and tell her that my order is ready and will you please box it and give it to me. A quick stop for a couple of slices of pizza on the way home from work turned into a 30 minute wait for cold pizza and proof that multi-tasking is not always beneficial.
