They did a huge order for my party! Everyone loved it! I’m no longer using Publix(they serve their drummettes cold now), when I can get hot whole wings for my events. Reminds me of Jordan’s in Indianapolis.

Salty wings and salty attitudes… the seasoning is good it’s jus a little too salty and it’d knows us folks don’t need anymore salt in one r diet. The real issue is the salty staff 8 know this is the hood but Pryor street gives good customer service whereas this location makes you wish you drove just a little further.

Hit or miss sometimes. The chicken is fried fresh, sometimes not. The shrimp is pretty good but my go to is the 4 wing dinner with fries and coleslaw. It’s a pretty good deal at around $ 5 bucks no drink. The fish is aiight but you will spend around $ 10 and you can get better fish around town.

JJ Fish & Chicken is a chain restaurant based out of Chicago. Atlanta, to my knowledge, has 2 locations. One on Wesley Chapel and this one on Memorial drive. I’m not 100% sure but I’m almost certain its the same recipe and taste as when I lived in Chicago. My favorite has always been the 7 piece Jumbo shrimp. Oh my goodness, who knew shrimp could be so succulent? I remember ordering some to go and tasting it on the way home, 20 plus miles mind you. Well instead of coming back another day, I got off at the next exit and went back to get another plate. This time the 14 piece. Enough the rest of the day and then some. I had already eaten all of the 7 piece. Now keep in mind that was the Wesley chapel location. Since discovering this one on Metropolitan pkwy, I’ve been back 3 weeks in a row. I neglected to check in yesterday, the day after Christmas, because, well it was the day AFTER Christmas and we had plenty of leftovers. However, I had to have my new favorite. The Perch and Chicken Tender combo AND a side of corn nuggets. First off they are very generous with the Fish and Chicken. I always have leftovers. But most importantly the Corn Nuggets are to die for. They use sweet corn and the batter is seasoned to perfection. The first bite sucks you in. The service is slow and they workers are not too upbeat but the food makes up for it. It’s best to call in your order or go before 6 pm on weekdays because it gets kinda busy. I’ve only seen 3 workers each time and they do not rush to get the orders out. I’m pretty sure they’re aware of their following. The restaurant has always been clean and the last inspection was scored at 97. It’s obvious they are doing something right. Since this location isn’t too far from my house, I’ve decided that every Friday will be JJ Fish & Chicken night. And no complaints from the boyfriend because he is stuck on the Jumbo Shrimp and Corn nuggets too. I’m always hesitant to give any establishment 5 stars but giving them anything less wouldn’t express how much I truly enjoy this place. So 5 it is.
