Dr. Smith is an excellent dentist who is highly skilled in providing great esthetic dentistry combined with ideal function. He is a prosthodontist with years of training & experience in implant & cosmetic dentistry as well as full mouth restoration cases. It is a fee for service office & payment is expected at the time that services are rendered. His office will offer to file insurance as a courtesy for direct reimbursement to each patient.

Great location, easy parking, and a very quick and relatively painless experience. They’re pretty busy, so your appointments have to be made long in advance for the simple stuff. They also have an in-​house lab for cosmetic dentistry if you’re thinking about having some serious work done. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone living or working in the midtown area.
I really liked the digital displays you’re staring at while they work/​take x-​rays. It’s pretty cool seeing the digital image of your x-​rays as they are taken… I have exceptionally long roots as it turns out… who knew?

The staff are friendly, helpful, and cleaning machines. Xrays are digital, so there are ceiling mounted monitors in each bay — once I had a viewing of a Sade concert during my deep cleaning. I didn’t really enjoy either, but that’s not unexpected. The music leaves something to be desired, but it is a dentist’s office, after all. Appointments are pretty far out, but put yourself on the cancellation list and more often than not, you’ll get in earlier. Emergency visits are prompt, believe me and my possible-​root-​canal. A typical cleaning runs about half an hour or so, but if you get the last appointment of the day (2:30pm), is it really worth going back to work?
This office is in a great location, especially for Marta riders. Drivers can park in the deck (entry from the south side of the building), or park in the neighborhood south of Piedmont Park like I do, take the walk a few blocks, and on the way back stop and treat yourself to an ice cream cone.
